May 6th, 2009 | 0 Comments | Email | Share | TweetTribune stations have picked up the rights to syndicate the HBO comedy series Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm starting next year. The agreement means Tribune’s stations in 17 markets (including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago) will have the rights to air the Emmy-winning comedy series, including all seven seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm and all six seasons of Entourage. HBO and Warner Brothers Domestic Television Distribution licensed the series in a barter deal to Tribune for a three-year run.
Both series will air Monday-Friday, along with one weekend telecast, beginning in fall 2010. HBO also just sold Entourage to Spike TV for an all-cash license fee of about $600,000 an episode.
