Thursday is a night full of new episodes. Get the run down of the newest episodes of Smallville, My Name Is Earl, Everybody Hates Chris, ER and more.

My Name Is Earl – 9 pm/ET, NBC

Tonight Earl’s past crush turns up and she’s played by Miriam Shor, who — big surprise — is gorgeous. However, she has a problem with Earl, who once shot her with a BB gun.

Everybody Hates Chris – 8 pm/ET, UPN

When Chris wants to get the scoop on how to win a school cookie-selling contest, who does he turn to? Why, neighborhood tough cookies, of course. Too bad consulting with crooks gets him in trouble with the law. Back at home, Julius and Rochelle plan to see Dreamgirls for their anniversary, but the dream turns into a nightmare for Julius.

Smallville – 8 pm/ET, WB

Things in Smallville get really weird and secrets are revealed when Jonathan Kent returns from the grave. Clark believes his father’s spirit has come back from the other side to warn him about Lionel. But the ghostly Jonathan advises Clark to do something that sounds very unlike Jonathan: He tells his son to kill Lionel. Meanwhile, Lana confesses her feelings about Lex to Lois, and Lex is beginning to realize that partnering with the mysterious Milton Fine is much more dangerous than he thought.

The O.C. – 9 pm/ET, FOX

There are police officers in tonight’s episode. There’s also car theft, a fire, substance abuse, a three-pronged Cohen family feud, and that little minx Kaitlin, who needs her big sister’s help to bail her out of a jam at school. In other words, just another day in Orange County, setting up what should be a very interesting third-season finale in two weeks.

The Office – 9:30 pm/ET, NBC

Michael’s overblown attempt to resolve conflicts among his desk jockeys backfires mightily.

ER – 9:59 pm/ET, NBC

In Darfur, Pratt and Carter treat a wounded sheik and his pregnant wife, who ends up needing to be moved to another medical facility in the middle of the night. During the journey, Pratt’s stubborn arrogance takes over when he faces gun-toting militants.
