Long time Bones fans know that Cam was a police officer prior to assuming her position at the Jeffersonian, but we’re about to learn a great deal more about Dr. Saroyan’s previous life and how it shaped who she is today. For starters, Angela ain’t the only one with an ex-fiance to speak of. Seems our favorite coroner was once engaged to marry a single dad whose daughter she was very close with. When the ex-fiance is murdered in an upcoming episode, Cam will offer the teenage orphan a new home with her. [Korbi TV]
Breaking Bad
Bob Odenkirk will guest-star in five episodes of AMC’s Breaking Bad, EW.com has learned. The comedic actor (Mr. Show) is taking a more dramatic turn as a slippery, ambulance-chasing lawyer who winds up serving as consigliere to Walt (Bryan Cranston). “He’s a wise oracle in a clownish package,” says Breaking creator Vince Gilligan about the character. Meanwhile, John de Lancie (Star Trek: The Next Generation) will appear in three episodes of the drama, which returns for season 2 in March. [The Hollywood Reporter]

When Speaker Donatello’s critical condition makes Tommy the heir apparent for the Speakership of the House, Freddie Cork maneuvers to get on Tommy’s good side. A Father Dreams – Airing January 4
Elizabeth’s illness and her uncle’s sacrifice cause a volatile and emotional confrontation between Kevin and Tommy that could make or break their relationship as brothers. Two Ministers – Airing December 30
Nathan bumps Eli up from best man to minister. When Eli’s latest vision has him questioning Nathan’s fiancee’s devotion, he is restless to learn Nate’s fate and turns to a new acupuncturist willing to perform the dangerous “Dark Truth” method that will help him see the future. Meanwhile, Keith and Eli defend a minister against discrimination, and Taylor and Matt learn there may be some complications with their unborn child. [SpoilerTV]

Though ER’s Sam hasn’t seen or spoken to her mother in nearly 15 years, we’ll soon meet the 58-year-old Mary Taggert after she suffers a debilitating stroke. Mary is said to be sticking around County General for a couple episodes and patching things up with her somewhat bitter daughter. [Korbi TV]
Friday Night Lights
Landry and Tyra’s looming reunion gets sealed with a sorta-kiss in tonight’s episode. [Michael Ausiello]

Yes, Sylar’s healing power was deactivated, and yes he was in the exploding building when Meredith went kablooey, but no, he ain’t dead. He’ll emerge from the rubble and set off on a quest to find his powers. To retrieve the money promised to the family of an innocent man who took the fall for a Mafia boss, the Leverage team poses as the wedding planners for the don’s only daughter on her big day. Somehow, the team must manage to pull off a wedding in the midst of pulling off the heist, all while avoiding a dangerous Russian mobster known as The Butcher. [SpoilerTV]

While working a con on a corrupt county judge in an outlying desert town, the team gets caught in the middle of a bank robbery, and Nate and Sophie are taken as hostages, along with their mark. The Leverage team attempts to expose a conglomerate’s cover-up of their toxic fertilizer, which has resulted in the death of a young girl. But the CEO has put all of the damning evidence on a plane to the Cayman Islands. The team races to catch the flight but, once airborne, they discover that the CEO’s intentions are far more sinister and that to avenge one life they’ll have to save their own. [SpoilerTV]
The Snow Job – Premieres Tuesday, January 27, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)
The Leverage team helps a beleaguered National Guardsman to find justice against the unscrupulous construction firm that foreclosed on his home. The team targets an investment broker who swindled a charity. To discover where the money is hidden, they trick the alcoholic financier into entering a rehab facility. There, they learn their mark is not the terrible person he at first appeared and that rehab may be exactly the place one of them needs to be. [SpoilerTV]
The First David Job – Premieres Tuesday, February 17, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)
For Nate’s benefit, the team targets the CEO of the company that denied Nate’s son’s medical treatment and allowed him to die. All they have to do is steal Blackpoole’s prized Michelangelo maquette and sell it back to him as its twin. All goes according to plan until Sterling reappears. [SpoilerTV]
The Second David Job – Premieres Tuesday, February 24, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)
Nate comes out of hiding to directly challenge Sterling and Blackpoole. This time, he’s going to steal both David statuettes right out from under their noses. But Nate’s bigger challenge is to get his fractured team to work together again. The stakes have never been higher. Life on Mars

There’s sex in the on-call rooms, getting attached to patients and learning that J.D. and Turk are going to have each other stuffed for future keeping after their demise. Also, don’t miss the credits! They might be the best part of the entire episode. The writers take some cleverly disguised jabs at their lack of awards recognition, and it is priceless. Smallville
In one scene from the upcoming episode Hex, Clark stares lovingly into Chloe’s eyes, but only because he thinks it’s Lois. It’s at that moment that Chloe learns how hard Clark has fallen for Lois. [Michael Ausiello]
The January 15 episode picks up more or less with “the absolute aftermath” of that wedding-smashing. How will Chloe bounce back from her abduction by the abomination? Chloe has an alter ego [aka Brainiac] as well, and that plays into how she’s going to progress as a character. [TV Guide]
