The Double Trouble in the Panhandle – Airing December 10, 2008
The team investigates the death of female conjoined twins who were in the process of deciding to get separated or not. The twins were working in a circus, which means that Booth will come face to face with a clown during the investigation. Brennan and Booth go undercover as Wanda and Buck Moosejaw, Canadian performers in a knife-throwing act. Sweets helps Brennan and Booth understand Circus lingo. [Michael Ausiello]
The Fire in the Ice – Airing December 17, 2008
The body of a fireman is discovered in a lake and Booth is one of the suspects. The victim and Booth played hockey together. The investigation is conducted by FBI Agent Payton Perotta. During interrogation, sparks fly between Perotta and Booth. Brennan will try figure skating. [SpoilerFix.com]
The Hero in the Hold – Airing January 15, 2009
Hodgins is not over when he and Brennan got taken hostage a while back. He may even be partially to blame for Booth’s kidnapping. Turns out Booth was Tasered, knocked out and stuffed in a toy-like yellow submarine. When he gets out of the tiny submarine, Booth finds himself face to face with someone from his military past. The team works on locating Booth and finding who is behind the kidnapping. We learn why Booth’s son is named Parker. Brennan, Hodgins and Thomas Vega, from episode 2.09, face Judge Dix Williams and AUSA Kim Kurland, also from episode 2.09, and learn that evidence in the Grave Digger’s case has gone missing. The three of them are suspected of taking the evidence. Hodgins is obsessed by the Grave Digger and Vega is writing a book on the subject. [SpoilerFix.com]

Owning It – Airing January/February 2009
Kitty meets with Marc Wilson, the president of Wexley University . He offers her a job as dean of the journalism school. Lost and Found – Airing February 2009
Kitty is being interviewed by Times Magazine but later finds, though Kevin, that someone killed the story. Nora finally meets Ryan at the coffee house where he works. She invites him to her house for the weekend. Holly meets with attorney Walter Geary. During the meeting she learns more about the company that bought some shares in episode 3.14 and the fact that Tommy will have majority ownership of Ojai Foods. [SpoilerFix.com]
Besides heading for adoption, there is a rocky patch coming for the couple. Rob Lowe says, “Senator McCallister is very ambitious. He’s very, very driven, and he doesn’t let anything stop him. I think that’s going to be a problem for the happy marriage.” It’s also probably not going to go over well when the birth mother of his and Kitty’s soon-to-be-adopted baby is about to deliver just as McAllister is announcing his candidacy for governor on live TV. Chuck Vs. The Sensei – Possibly airing Novmeber 17
Chuck (Zachary Levi) is still reeling from the discovery that his ex-girlfriend Jill was a Fulcrum agent and goes on a mission to take his mind of off his shock. Casey (Adam Baldwin) gets a shock of his own when he finds out that his sensei Ty Bennett (guest star Carl Lumbly), who taught him everything he knows, is now one of the most wanted rogue agents. While on the search for Bennett, it becomes clear that Casey may be too emotionally involved to continue with the mission. Meanwhile, Awesome’s (Ryan McPartlin) parents Honey (guest star Morgan Fairchild) and Woody (guest star Bruce Boxleitner) make a surprise visit to help Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) and Awesome plan their wedding. At the Buy More, Emmett (Tony Hale) reinstates the employee of the month contest, but Morgan (Joshua Gomez), Jeff (Scott Krinsky) and Lester (Vik Sahay) have other plans. [IO9]

Desperate Housewives

Once Carlos gets his sight back, Gaby tries to get him a job to go with his restored vision. She gets a great lead on a high-paying financial gig, but Carlos wants to spend more time with the family and teach the blind down at the community center, and as you would guess, that leads to conflict in the Solis marriage. Friday Night Lights

The Equation – Airing November 18
A little boy is abducted while on a drive with his father. His father stops to help this woman whose car’s broken down and sees some lights and then all of sudden his son and the woman in the car have disappeared and he doesn’t quite know what’s going on and we find out that this same kind of story has been told before, but most of the people that have told it have inevitably gone mad or had quite frightening psychotic outbreaks. And Walter seems to remember an inmate in the asylum telling the same story and he was a genius mathematician. So Walter ends up going back into St. Claire’s where he tries to get information from this old inmate of his, Dachsel. … And then we find out that the car was registered to this woman who had died about ten years ago, and all the people that have been abducted were all kind of like geniuses in particular scientific fields, except this little boy who was in fact a brilliant, brilliant piano player and the mathematics of music kind of come into play. Dreamscape – Airing November 25
A Massive Dynamic employee is so convinced he is being attacked by butterflies that he jumps out of a window to escape them, and the team is called in to investigate. Although Olivia’s unexplained interaction with Agent Scott leads to breaks in the case, she is so desperate to rid her consciousness of him that she demands to go back in the tank. Meanwhile, the gig is up for Peter when a former friend – and some current foes – find out he’s back in Boston. [Fringe Bloggers]
Ghost Whisperer
Jim’s not going into the light without a fight. This Friday, his ghost drops a metric ton of angst all over his grief-stricken widow when he refuses to cross over to the other side. Gossip Girl

Grey’s Anatomy

The show is looking for a famous actress to play a thirtysomething patient for a three-episode guest arc. She’s said to be funny, warm, have a sense of humor and be a girl next door type.
Heroes
The next volume, titled “Fugitives” and said to be inspired by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, begins in January. It centers on a character called The Hunter (Damages Emmy winner Zeljko Ivanek) and, by all accounts, represents a reboot of the series. [TV Guide]

The eclipse continues to impact the Heroes’ abilities as Elle and Sylar face off against a vengeful H.R.G. while Claire struggles to survive. In Haiti, Peter and Nathan join forces with the Haitian to battle the Haitian’s brother, Baron Samedi (guest star Demetrius Grosse), and Nathan comes to a shocking decision. In the meantime, Ando, Sam (guest star Seth Green) and Frack (guest star Breckin Meyer) work hard to get Hiro’s memory back with the help of the “9th Wonders” comic books at a local comic bookstore. Evil . . . and His Brother Ziggy – Airing December 3
When a sheriff’s deputy is found murdered on an Indian reservation, Crews and Reese find themselves in the middle of a turf war between Tribal police and the county sheriff’s department. The detectives learn the victim was not well-liked on the reservation and the opening of a new profitable casino may have led to the deputy’s demise. Meanwhile, Crews attends a fundraiser thrown by Mickey Rayborn, one of the individuals Crews believes was involved in the conspiracy against him. [NBC]
Canyon Flowers – Airing December 10

Phil’s an ogre who works in corporate security, Jerry’s his party-boy colleague, and the doctor is, um, a hippieish doctor who finds himself in a sitch for which no internship could’ve prepared him. EW’s Doc Jensen speculates: “Flashback to the Purge. Phil and Jerry are Dharma footsoldiers, charged with protecting the weird science enclave from ‘the hostiles’/'the Others.’ Of course, we know they will fail miserably, as Turncoat Ben helped gas the village. Perhaps the ’situation outside of his medical experience’ that the doctor finds himself in is racing against time to save his fellow peeps from exposure to the gas.”[Michael Auseillo]

She is set for at least four episodes, and she may appear in up to three other episodes. Quinlan may be playing “Janet,” a seven-episode recurring character who first appears in the fall finale. Janet is described as Pad Man’s second-in-command and the Company’s international operations chief. Dean thinks they’ve been set up, but then Sam explains what happened when he was in Hell, and how Ruby saved his life, to show why they should trust Ruby. We’ll soon be meeting younger versions of Sam and Dean and see that Sam never liked their life on the road, and for a while there when he was young, he even dared to dream of another life. The Office

The show is casting for someone who sounds suspiciously like, well, a more ethnic version of Holly. The part is simply named “Woman with Michael,” and they’re looking for someone “African-American, Asian, Latina; a charming, attractive, smart woman in her 30s who has one large scene with Michael and actually gets along with him really well . . . Actress doesn’t have to be comedic necessarily, just easy-going and appealing.” [Kristin@E!Online]
Ugly Betty
Grant Bowler talking about his characters relationship with Wilhelmina: “very sparky” and “very hot,” so keep your flammables away from the screen. The minor glitch: He is a taken man.
