30 Rock

The show is currently casting “multiple family members” for Jon Hamm’s character, who, it turns out, is a doctor. [Michael Ausiello]

Jack is going to drug Liz this week, and it will make her flight to jury duty a very interesting one, especially since she is sitting first class with Oprah. Tracy and Jenna’s fight over Goregasm will come to a head, er, so to speak, this week. To prove a point, Tracy will dress up as a white woman, and Jenna as a black man. Liz will seek Oprah’s help in bringing the two back together. [Kristin@E!Online]

90210

Shannon Doherty will be back for two more episodes, one of them to possibly be directed by Jason Priestley. There may be some health-related rumblings, but not necessarily about Brenda. And they don’t involve death — quite the opposite, in fact. [TV Guide]

Brothers and Sisters

Since Kitty (Calista Flockhart) can’t keep her big mouth shut, the rest of the family will meet Ryan’s father, George, this week at Tommy and Julia’s anniversary party. Look for Holly (Patricia Wettig) to ruin the close-to-family reunion though, but with the casting of Ryan, we all know he’ll be popping up soon around episode 14. [Kristin@E!Online]

Kitty will be getting a baby, and the baby storyline actually came about because so many of the show’s producers (a lot of them) are going through adoption experiences of their own right now. [Kristin@E!Online]

Chuck

Mark Pellegrino will be playing a Fulcrum villain on next week’s episode of Chuck. It also happens to be the episode where we meet Jill (Jordana Brewster), Chuck’s ex-flame, and I don’t think Sarah is too happy about it. There will be a pillow fight between these two. [Kristin@E!Online]

“We’ll finally be out of Rusty’s freshman year,” reveals Greek creator Sean Smith of season 2.5, which kicks off next March. “When we return it’s the fall of his second year and Casey and the upper-classmen’s fourth. It’ll be a whole new year, with Rush (like the pilot) all over again, new pledges, new fun!” And what about Dale? “He’ll definitely be around,” says Smith. “Only this year he’s living in Calhoun Hall as Rusty moves into the Kappa Tau house.” [Michael Ausiello]

The show will return next week with a huge Petrelli-centric episode. We’ll learn how the divide came to pass, and we’ll also see how HRG (Jack Coleman) and Elle (Kristin Bell) turned Sylar (Zachary Quinto) into the psycho killer we all know and love. [Kristin@E!Online]

House

House and Cuddy are moving in together on Dec. 2! Sort of. The collateral damage resulting from the upcoming hostage crisis at Princeton Plainsboro will force Cuddy to temporarily move into House’s office, which creates an even bigger crisis. [Michael Ausiello]

In next Tuesday’s episode Chase and Cameron are not in every scene, but issues surrounding their relationship – specifically, her reluctance to make room for him in her life (literally and figuratively) – loom large throughout the hour. They also gets a fair amount of face time in the episode, since the victim-of-the-week is a former patient of Cameron’s. [Michael Ausiello]

The hostage situation is in the November 25 episode, and Jennifer Morrison (Cameron) promises it won’t disappoint. “It’s interesting because basically the guy who takes them hostage is sort of pitting everyone against each other to get what he wants. He’s trying to get treated. You kind of feel for him, but at the same time he’s putting all of these people’s lives in peril.” Will everyone make it out safely? “I don’t get killed,” she assured me. “That’s all I can tell you. I’m still alive.” [Kristin@E!Online]

Life On Mars

Her billionaire boss tells her he needs a corporate prognosticator, but he’s actually trying to find out what her dreams say about a dangerous person with whom he’s very close. When the dangerous person finds out, Allison’s in big trouble. Also, Ariel’s doin’ drugs. [Kristin@E!Online]

Smallville

Bride – Airing November 20, 2008
Chloe is excited that she’s marrying Jimmy. Meanwhile, Oliver tells Clark he thinks he’s discovered where Lex is hiding and takes off to Cuba to confront him. However, when he arrives, Oliver is shocked to find Lana instead. Clark and Lois grow closer but chaos ensues when Doomsday crashes the wedding and tries to kidnap Chloe. [The CW]

Bulletproof – Airing January 2009
Clark goes undercover as a cop after [Detective] John Jones is shot, hoping to find out what actually happened. His cop alias is “Joe Fordman,” which could be a reference to Whitney Fordman from Season 1. The character of police inspector Dan Turpin – who first appeared in Jack Kirby’s New Gods comic book series – makes his first Smallville appearance in this episode. Turpin has a 4-year-old son who is emulating the “Red-Blue Blur” that has enthralled Metropolis in recent months. Turpin’s cop partner has recently been murdered. Oliver has resumed the role of Green Arrow by this point. Turpin witnesses Clark talking to the Green Arrow and realizes he is not who he says he is. Dr. Emil Hamilton – also a character from comics lore – assists Clark and Oliver to help John Jones and his unique physiology. Note that Dr. STEVEN Hamilton was the “Dr. Hamilton” seen in Smallville’s early years. Keep in mind that the presence of Turpin or Dr. Hamilton could be subject to change. Cop sentiment over costumed heroes and vigilantes is rather low. Lana and Oliver are keeping a secret from Clark. [Krypton Site]
