Mary Lynn Rajskub talking about the new season: “So far, the scripts that I’ve read are completely different,” she told us. “It takes place in Washington, D.C., there’s a rogue CTU set up, an African country is the terrorist threat, and there’s a conspiracy inside the government that we’re trying to uncover.” And what about Chloe? “I show up, time has passed and I have a 1-year-old and a wedding ring and I’m calling Morris while I’m busy. So far he’s taking care of the baby, but he’s around.” [Michael Ausiello]

In an upcoming episode, Chuck’s flashes turn out to be inaccurate, causing a rift between Sarah and Chuck. I’m also hearing things are getting steamy between Morgan and coworker Anna. I’m told they are getting some action in the Buy More breakroom. [Kristin@E!Online]
CSI
CBS has finally confirmed Jorja Fox’s final airdate: November 15. [Michael Ausiello]
In the 10th episode of the season the team investigates abused pit bulls who are implicated in the death of a woman. There are some brutal dogfight sequences that the more sensitive among you might want to avoid. [Kristin@E!Online]

ER
A man gets his arm caught in a machine at a factory and Dolores, an undocumented Hispanic cleaning woman, helps to rescue him. He is in such pain that he can’t tell what happened. His racist son, John, blames Dolores and he makes rude comments about and blames “illegal immigrants” for his and his father’s problems. He and Dolores’s son, Manny, get into a fight and security has to break it up. Later, Manny is brought in, having been beaten with a baseball bat. John admits to his father that he took care of the problem and his father tells him that it was his fault, not Dolores’s. Moretti has left the ER because of a problem with his son and Anspaugh makes Skye the acting chief, even though she persists that she does not want the job. Friday Night Lights
Show runner Jason Katims talking about the future of Landry and Tyra: “Eventually, they have to [figure out] whether this connection they have was born solely from their circumstances, or whether there is something lasting that comes out of it; that’s their next step. And the step after that would be, even if they do admit that there’s a real connection, is Tyra willing to go public with that? Because that would completely and totally change the way she is seen in the world.” [Michael Ausiello]

We meet Casey and Rusty’s mom this coming season, and she might not be exactly what you’d expect. We’re hearing she’s a no-frills, no-fuss, gray-haired Midwestern gal who favors her son over her daughter. But she’s also a bit of a meddler and might get in the way of both her kids on campus. We also get to know Dale’s very annoying parents and Rebecca Logan’s dad, the senator, who may be involved in some extramarital activities. [Kristin@E!Online]

George and Izzy aren’t ending yet, at least not tomorrow night, when the two of them decide to have sex for the first time without being drunk. Elle wipEd out Peter’s memory and stuck him in the crate. [Kristin@E!Online]
Three series-regular characters will die before January. Heroes creator Tim Kring added that the show is tying Elle “into this Company we have talked about,” and says Elle was raised by the Company. [Kristin@E!Online]
When the clock turns back four months for all of the Heroes, Nathan pays a terrible cost for his heroic actions. While Peter survives his detonation over New York City, the Company “bags” him as a threat to the world, eventually leading to violent confrontation with Elle and the Haitian. D.L. makes the ultimate sacrifice for Niki and Micah. Maya horrifically manifests her dark powers for the first time, driving her and Alejandro to America for help. A mysterious, yet familiar face is introduced. [NBC]
In episode 8, which flashes back four months, just wait till you see how sadistic our darling Kristen Bell can be as she gleefully zaps and zings Peter. Oh, and FYI, their lips might kinda sorta meet. [...] You know that creeptastic burned dude Mr. Petrelli keeps seeing in the mirror? Sources confirm to me that’s most definitely Nathan just a few months back, and the reason he looks so good is that [...] there’s a cool new “cure” of sorts that could do a whole lotta people some good-including Nathan and, I don’t know, perhaps Isaac and D.L. and Simone and Daddy Suresh, to name a few. [Kristin@E!Online]
Convinced that the Company is close to finding them, H.R.G. prepares the family to run – but Claire has other ideas. Meanwhile, Hiro returns from the past and learns of his father’s death. Meanwhile, Matt uses his mental abilities to track down the last person in the company photo. In addition, Nathan learns his brother is alive. Outside of New York, Maya must choose between Alejandro and Sylar. [NBC]
House
House chooses Kal Penn, 13 and the plastic surgeon as his new staff, but if you actually just keep up with the show like a normal person, tune in to the last House episode during sweeps (November 27) to see what happens when Cuddy forces House to just pick some, already. Also, during sweeps, the feds bring House a dangerously ill CIA agent, but of course they can’t tell House anything about the patient, or they’d have to kill him. [Kristin@E!Online]
Jericho
According to sources, CBS is looking at the Sunday 8 p.m. time slot for the seven new episodes of Jericho. [Kristin@E!Online]
FilmStew.com reported that the show didn’t pick up Pamela Reed’s contract for season two. [FilmStew.com]
Law and Order: SVU
Tragedy strikes and Elliot goes blind in the November 13 episode titled, appropriately enough, “Blinded.” Chris Meloni teased the circumstances surrounding Elliot’s injury in, um, rather graphic detail. “A perp attacks me, blindsides me, and it’s when your brain is slapped against your skull, basically bruising the optical nerves,” he said. “I’ve always secretly thought it would be very interesting to play a blind person and keep your visual senses open, yet not tap into them…. I summoned my inner Al Pacino, and I think I’m gonna grab that Emmy this year.” [Michael Ausiello]
Lost
The show is on the hunt for Huston, a fortyish authority figure whose charming demeanor belies an ice-cold heart. The new character is also said to be a model employee — nothing stands in the way of him doing his job… at least not for long. [Michael Ausiello]

Michael suffers the consequences of solitary Sona-style and a mystery woman makes her way to Panama to find Michael. [Fox]
A coup in Sona brings Michael’s escape plan crashing down and leaves the Panamanian prison with one less prisoner. [Fox]
Pushing Daisies
Paul Reubens’ character is in the seventh episode to air, and you’ll see a lot more of him in the back nine episodes. [Kristin@E!Online]
The next time we have singing will be in an episode called “Smell of Success” that I believe airs in November and features Ellen Greene covering Cat Stevens. [Kristin@E!Online]
We exist in Pushing Daisies time, which is essentially now with a caveat or two. We want the show to have a timeless quality to maintain the fairy-tale feel, which is why you’ll see cars from the ’60s and ’70s mixed in with modern-day jobbies like the Prius. [Kristin@E!Online]
Ned’s life-giving touch only affects the dead. He can touch anything alive without consequence. So basically the one woman he wants to be with is the only woman he can’t touch. [Kristin@E!Online]
Chuck can hold Ned’s hand or dance with him or even kiss him as long as there is some kind of barrier preventing their skin from connecting. [Kristin@E!Online]
A young woman is killed and Ned, Chuck and Emerson learn a scratch-n-sniff sticker on a booby-trapped book exploded. They realize the book was meant to kill the author and not his young apprentice. Ned, Chuck and Emerson are nearby when another attempt is made on his life, this time with a car bomb. One man, another author, confesses to the crimes, but Ned, Chuck and Emerson don’t believe he’s guilty. [SpoilerFix.com]
A young man named Tony is strangled to death and police arrest his girlfriend Tina. Tina hires Emerson to prove her innocence and find the real killer. When Ted brings Tony back to life, he tells them that a friend he was double dating with killed him but when Emerson points out that small hand prints on his neck, Tony says the man used his life-size doll, that he claims to be his girlfriend, to strangle him. When Tony pointed out that the date was a doll, the man got angry and killed him with the doll’s hands. A woman named Dilly sics the health inspector on Ned and The Pie Hole and when he makes a surprise inspection, finding lipstick on his coffee cup, Digby in the kitchen and a storage room full of rotten fruit, he closes The Pie Hole. Ned is arrested and put in jail for a crime he did not commit. [SpoilerFix.com]

He tells the guys that Huang was a big poker player so they go find him and in the process, come into some big money. After thinking of what to do with it, Sam disappoints the Devil by giving it to Forester. [SpoilerFix.com]
Scrubs

Meanwhile, J.D. angers the staff when they realize that he uses nicknames because he doesn’t know their real names — the Janitor challenges him to identify everyone in the hospital, if he can’t J.D. must take up the mop for a day. Elsewhere, in a case of lost identity Dr. Cox realizes that he is lonely without his wife and children. [SpoilerFix.com]
Though J.D. is going to be a daddy real soon, the relationship with his baby mama is totally doomed. [Kristin@E!Online]
Nurse Laverne is dead and buried, but Aloma Wright does return, as a nurse named Shirley. She will look slightly different, but not by much. The funny thing is that J.D. will be the only character who sees any resemblance whatsoever! [Kristin@E!Online]
There are some great fantasy sequences coming up. There’s one this year in which J.D. is wishing he could breast-feed his new baby and all the men have breasts. [Kristin@E!Online]
Later in the season, Kelso is getting fired! [Kristin@E!Online]
Creator Bill Lawrence talking about J.D. and Elliot’s relationship: “Zach always says there’s no way you can satisfy everybody, because if you go on to our fansites there’s a lot of people that want them together and then there’s a lot of people that don’t. I think the answer is right in the middle, which is what we pride ourselves on. This show was never a will-they-or-won’t-they show. It was not Ross and Rachel or, you know, Moonlighting. And I think that if we were to end this series with Zach going to the airport to keep Elliot from flying away [Editor's note: Garden State references make me tingle], everybody would feel cheated, because that’s not what this show has been about. It’s been about all the relationships. That being said, Zach and Sarah have made people invested in this, so I am going to resolve it, but I’m not going to make that the end of the series. I think it’ll happen before people expect it to happen. I put a lot of clues about what I’m going to do along the way. I think I’ve found a way through it that people will be satisfied.” [Kristin@E!Online]
Shark

When Christina sees someone lurking in the shadows while she is jogging, she thinks it’s the man who attacked her previously, but Isaac says he had been in his house 20 miles away the whole night. Christina is killed shortly after that and Franco turns himself in and confesses. After questioning him, Sebastian realizes he didn’t do it and is just confessing for the publicity. [SpoilerFix.com]
Smallville
The identity of the mystery person whom Chloe confronts in the Nov. 8 episode is none other than… Lana! She basically issues Lana an ultimatum: You hurt my friend, you deal with me. [Michael Ausiello]
In the November 15 episode, we’ll learn that two characters (one evil, one presumably good) are in cahoots. And that can only mean bad things for a certain unnamed heroine. [Michael Ausiello]
Kryptonite and high voltage mix during a lightning storm, causing Lana to absorb Clark’s powers. Using her newfound super powers, she breaks into Lex’s safe and steals incriminating evidence which she then delivers to Lois and Grant, demanding they run a story exposing Lex’s secrets. After Grant refuses to use stolen material, Lana decides to take care of Lex herself. Clark tries to stop Lana from killing Lex and a super battle ensues between the two. [The CW]
Clark hears the voice of his biological mother, Lara (guest star Helen Slater), calling for help from Kara’s crystal and decides to release her, despite Jor-El’s warnings. Lara and Clark reunite and she gives him Jor-El’s ring, which contains blue kryptonite. As Clark puts it on, he realizes Zor-El (guest star Christopher Heyerdahl) manipulated the whole thing and that blue kryptonite strips him of his powers, enabling Zor-El to take control of the Fortress of Solitude. Meanwhile, Chloe and Lex each discover Lois and Grant have been seeing each other and warn them to stop. [The CW]

Sam and Dean investigate the mysterious demise of drowned victims who were nowhere near the water at the time of their death. The brothers learn each of the victims saw a ghost ship shortly before they died. Upon investigation, they cross paths with Bela, who is being paid handsomely by one of the murder victim’s family members to solve the case. Sam and Dean warn her to stay out of their way, but she has other plans. [The CW]
Sam and Dean capture a female vampire named Lucy (guest star Mercedes McNab) who claims to have no knowledge of how she became a vampire. The guys discover Dixon (guest star Matthew Humphreys), a male vampire, is giving out human blood to unsuspecting females in bars, offering it up as the “latest drug” and turning them all into vampires. Meanwhile, Gordon (guest star Sterling K. Brown) escapes from jail and goes after Sam. However, Dixon intercepts Gordon and turns him into a vampire, which makes Gordon more powerful than before and a much bigger threat to Sam. [The CW]
Dean dresses in a suit and tie, pretending to be a detective, when he goes to interview students and faculty at a college. He asks one stoner student about the death of Dr. Gregg and the sleep study he was conducting, testing a treatment for a sleep disorder. The student has the inability to dream and says he quit after one session with Dr. Gregg because the stuff he gave him caused him to have a very weird, super intense dream, much like an acid trip. Bobby, Sam and Dean all get trapped in their dreams and figure out that the one causing it is Jeremy, the stoner student Dean questioned. [SpoilerFix.com]
The Riches
Dahlia accidentally spills her secret life to an officer of the law, and she’s forced to create a legit life within one day. [Kristin@E!Online]
Ugly Betty
The show is about to give Wilhelmina a younger sister. And as if the “younger” part weren’t enough to make her persona non grata around “Mode,” Dominique is also a relentless party animal whose knack for making trouble is rivaled only by the size of the skeleton rattling around in her closet. [Michael Ausiello]
Henry and Betty get caught in a rather compromising (and elevated) position while attending a performance of Wicked in tomorrow’s episode. [Michael Ausiello]
