The 24:Redemption movie airing November 23 on Fox is essentially a warm-up for season 7: swearing in new president Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones) and bringing in Jon Voight as the villian. Of course, Jack does kick a lot of butt in the African jungle, too. But for all his troubles, he still winds up handcuffed on a helicopter en route to the U.S., where he’ll stand trial for his criminal-torturing ways. [Michael Ausiello]

30 Rock

The Skull In the Sculpture – Airing November 5, 2008
When the smashed remains of a well known artist are found in an impounded junkyard car, Booth and Brennan are on the case to find out if foul play is to blame for his death. With suspects ranging from the artist’s rival to his own assistant, the team must race against the clock to find evidence of murder before the car is relinquished and put on exhibit as the sculptor’s ultimate display of self-sacrifice for the sake of his art. Meanwhile, Angela’s ex-girlfriend Roxie, who worked with the artist, becomes a suspect in the case, and Angela and the team must find out who delivered the final stroke in his artfully crafted death. The Con Man in the Meth Lab – Airing November 12, 2008
Booth and Brennan investigate the scene where a body was uncovered during a botched practice police raid. The team identifies the body as a struggling inventor’s father who had recently reunited with his son. But when a second body surfaces, the team is led on a trail of deception to find out who was the actual con-man in the inventor’s life. Clark Edison returns to the lab, and he and Hodgins work on piecing together blueprints from one of the inventor’s potentially valuable inventions. Meanwhile, Booth’s younger brother Jared (guest star Brendan Fehr) moves to D.C. to take a job at the Pentagon, and Brennan, smitten with Jared, agrees to go on a date with him to a White House function. Her date with Jared leads her to learn information about Booth’s past and give her a far greater understanding into her partner’s motives. [Fox]

Boston Legal

Valerie Bertinelli is playing a cattle-rancher client in the November 3 episode. [TV Guide]

Cheri Oteri guest stars in the November 17 episode as a client who is fired for voting for McCain for president. [TV Guide]

Brothers and Sisters

According to Sarah Jane Morris, “Kitty and McCallister (Calista Flockhart and Rob Lowe) are adopting a baby. We’re shooting the baby shower right now, and it’s very fun! Nora, Sally Field’s character, has all these stupid games that we have to play.” [Kristin@E!Online]

Next week Kevin and Tommy finally come to blows, as in, serious, full-on, fistfighting action. Executive Producer Josh Schwartz talking about Chuck and Sarah’s relationship and guest star Jordana Brewster as Chuck’s ex: “We’re always talking about how far you can take them…and how quickly. It was very emotional and honest between those two characters very early in the season, and Jordana’s arrival throws a wrench into all of that. The relationship will continue to unravel, but I think you’ll see in November sweeps that it will really heat up.”

In an upcoming Eli Stone executive producer Marc Guggenheim talks about a Reaper/Eli Stone conection: “Danielle Panabaker plays a woman “who’s accused of building a nuclear bomb. And since she works in a Home Depot-like store, we decided to use the Work Bench from Reaper, because it’s my wife’s show. It’s not quite an Eli Stone-Reaper crossover, but it’s probably as close as I’ll come,” Guggenheim continues. “The scene doesn’t actually take place at the store. Serena and Dan agree to attend an art opening at Rufus’ gallery as friends, but the outing gets a little uncomfortable after Serena meets an artist, Aaron Rose (guest star John Patrick Amedori), and realizes they have an instant chemistry. There Might Be Blood – Airing November 3, 2008
Serena invites Aaron (guest star John Patrick Amedori) to be her guest at a charity gala honoring Lily and Bart, but after discovering a secret that Aaron has been keeping from her, she begins to question whether Aaron is the guy she thought he was. Hoping it will help her chances of getting into Yale, Blair naively agrees to babysit the 15-year-old daughter of a prominent Yale donor, but the teenager proves to be more than a handful and Blair begins to suspect that the evening may actually wind up hurting her chances of getting into the college of her dreams. Rise Up – Airing November 6, 2008
The Chief announces to the residents that a solo surgery will be awarded, and the news sends them into a competitive frenzy. Meanwhile Derek turns to Bailey for advice when he feels Cristina is interfering in his relationship with Meredith, and Erica discovers a shocking connection between one of her surgical residents and a longtime patient. These Ties That Bind – Airing November 13, 2008
One of Meredith’s oldest friends, Sadie, becomes an intern at Seattle Grace, but Meredith’s friends are less-than-welcoming to her; Lexie leads her fellow interns in secretive, unorthodox surgical training sessions; and a new surgeon, Harriet Dixon, brings rules and order to the OR. [ABC]

Heroes

Villains – Airing November 10, 2008
To prepare for the confrontation ahead, Hiro follows respected businessman, husband and father Arthur Petrelli (guest star Robert Forster) in the days before he “died” – to discover what drove him to create rival company Pinehearst and strike at Angela. Later, a moment unfolds where Sylar, horrified and guilt-ridden, might have stopped his murderous pursuit of abilities – that is, if H.R.G. and Elle (guest star Kristen Bell) had swayed from their monstrous assignment. Finally, under the wing of Company man Thompson (guest star Eric Roberts), agent-in-training Meredith (guest star Jessalyn Gelsig) watches her new life go up in smoke, following the arrival of her hot-headed brother. You know how Elle channeled her overly abundant electricity into Claire? Later this season she’ll do the same thing to a male character, only this time it will have some distinctly sexual overtones. As for next new ep (airing November 11), we’ll get to know her when she was an agent in the field, and we’ll meet her partner. [Kristin@E!Online]

“My character starts explaining to Locke the mysteries of the island,” says Nestor [Carbonell], who denies his character is actually the all-powerful Jacob. “There’s a phenomenal twist.” Mysteries from Charlotte ’s past will shed further light on the island’s history. “It appears I’ve come back to the island to look for my birthplace,” says Rebecca [Mader]. Last season, viewers saw her in a Tunisian desert studying the remains of a polar bear. Greatness Achieved – Airing November 3, 2008

Michael’s condition continues to worsen, and a team member makes the ultimate sacrifice while planning the underground break-in for Scylla. [Fox]

The Legend – Airing November 10, 2008
Michael’s medical condition forces Sara to take him to the hospital, and Sucre and Lincoln get themselves into an explosive situation. Mahone has designs on the Company’s architect while Agent Self meets with a surprising ally. [Fox]

Firefly actress Gina Torres has signed up to play Emerson’s ex-wife. [Michael Ausiello]

Executive Producer Bryan Fuller talking about bringing Paul Ruebens. “And I encourage you to write ABC and tell them how much you love him, too. We’ve tried a couple of times this season to bring Paul back and always ended up having to push the story off for various reasons. Right now Oscar is off in the wilds of olfactory science trying to decipher the mysterious scent he discovered specific to Chuck, and if/when he returns, he’ll have a lot to say on the matter.” [Michael Ausiello]

Reaper

Samantha Who

Sam becomes a real-estate agent, leading her to meet and charm the pants off (literally) Owen (James Tupper), a potential buyer. So Todd (Barry Watson) is out of the picture for now. And we’ll finally see a nice side to Andrea, when she goes on a date with Todd’s friend Seth. [Kristin@E!Online]

Jennifer Esposito is forced to give up the title of Best Hair when James Tupper arrives for a multi-episode run as Samantha prospective new boyfriend in the November 3 episode. [TV Guide]

Smallville

Identity – Airing October 30, 2008
Jimmy snaps a picture of Clark super-speeding to save Lois from a mugger and manages to catch a red and blue blur on film. Jimmy shows it to Tess who decides to run it on the front page of the Daily Planet. Clark fears his identity will be discovered so he asks Chloe to run interference with Jimmy, but she refuses. [The CW]

Clark expects Chloe to delete Jimmy’s photo, and she refuses. Chloe tells Clark that this situation has given him the perfect alter ego. “It’s called an alias, Clark,” she says. “Writers have been writing under pen names since the invention of the alphabet. Oliver Queen has the Green Arrow; I think it’s time for you to have one of your own.” Chloe insists to Clark that the photo does not reveal anything about Clark Kent, but it instead gives the world “something that they desperately need right now – a hero.” Lois is paired with a new Daily Planet city reporter named Sebastian who has been assigned to work with her. In actuality, Sebastian has been sent by someone to see if she has some important information. Clark seems a little jealous when Lois is about to show Sebastian the town. Chloe asks Clark if people knowing that someone is out there saving lives would necessarily be a bad thing. Jimmy rifles through the Smallville Ledger and Torch archives to prove that such super-heroics may have been going on for a while – and he asks Clark if there was anyone from high school who may have been suspicious.[Krypton Site]

Bloodline – Air November 6, 2008
Clark receives an anonymous package containing the crystal that Tess found in the Arctic. When he removes the crystal, it activates and sends him and a visiting Lois to the Phantom Zone where they run into Kara (guest star Laura Vandervoort). Kara opens a portal for Lois to return but Zod’s wife Faora escapes with her and takes over Lois’ body. A possessed Lois goes on a rampage in Metropolis. [The CW]

Abyss – Airing November 13, 2008
Brainiac begins removing Chloe’s memories one by one until the only person she remembers is Davis. Clark realizes the only way to stop Brainiac from taking over Chloe’s mind is to rebuild the Fortress and ask Jor-El to heal her. Davis tells Chloe she is marrying the wrong man. [The CW]

Lana comes back a very different and stronger person, and her real reasons for leaving via video message will be revealed. [Kristin@E!Online]

It’s a few days before Halloween and Sam and Dean investigate two mysterious deaths in a small town. The brothers find hex bags and deduce a witch is sacrificing people to summon a dangerous demon named Samhain. Castiel (guest star Misha Collins) arrives in town and tells Sam and Dean the freeing of Samhain is one of the Seals that will lead to freeing Lucifer, so Castiel has brought a specialist angel named Uriel (guest star Robert Wisdom) to smite the entire town. Wishful Thinking – Airing November 6, 2008
Sam and Dean investigate a small town where the wishing well really works. A teddy bear comes to life, someone wins the lottery and the town geek gets a hot girlfriend. The brothers realize that while everyone is happy now, the end result will be disastrous. [The CW]

Hell’s Angels – Airing November 20, 2008
Angels Castiel and Uriel do battle with demons over Anna, the girl who can hear angelic conversations. Dean tells Sam what happened to him in Hell. [The CW]
