Former Veronica Mars showrunner Rob Thomas cowrote the October 25 episode. [Michael Ausiello]

Bionic Woman

According to sources, that whole Idaho disaster was originally supposed to be the primary focus of Episode 3, but it instead became a subplot of Episode 2. So if it felt a little rushed, that’s why. Also, I’m hearing that the Bionic writers are getting a little worried because the entire Friday Night Lights staff is slowly taking over. They’re hoping FNL does well in the ratings so they’ll go back to working on their show. [Michael Ausiello]

Bones

While waiting to speak to their new therapist, Booth confesses to Brennan that their recent fetish case got to him—he recently had a pony play sex dream! As for his partner in the dream? Booth gets flustered and quickly changes the subject when Brennan poses that very question. [Kristin@E!Online]

Zack discovers that the latest victim, a Vicar General in the Catholic Church, had both kneecaps surgically removed as part of a series of cannibalistic murders. Booth and Brennan warn a wealthy man named Ray Porter that someone is targeting the Bilderberger secret society, of which he is a member, and he laughs off their concern until he is found tied up and gagged by a man wearing a motorcycle helmet. Russ (Brennan’s brother) comes home and turns himself in when his daughter, who has cystic fibrosis, gets worse. Brennan refers her to the top CF doctor in the country. Brennan, Booth and Russ appear in court with the state’s attorney and Russ’s parole officer to work out what Russ’s punishment for fleeing the jurisdiction will be. [SpoilerFix.com]

Further down the line . . . Rita’s kids go missing. [Kristin@E!Online]

Dirty Sexy Money

Blair Underwood is joining the show as Simon Elder, and he’s America’s wealthiest billionaire. We’re talking Bill Gates-type money. In fact, I’m hearing he’s the inventor of some sort of computer technology of the future. The Darlings go head-to-head with him trying to buy up New York property, as if they’re all trying to be the new Donald Trump. Essentially, Simon will be the family’s archrival. I’m also told he’s a yoga expert and into clean living. [Kristin@E!Online]

A big sex-tape scandal takes center stage in tonight’s rollicking episode — and I couldn’t have been more wrong about who’s at the center of it. [Michael Ausiello]

Jason Street starts online dating, but that’s not where he meets his new love interest. [Kristin@E!Online]

The next two eps are fantastic! You gotta watch. For starters, we find out Landry lost his watch at the crime scene, but this whole nasty debacle might actually help his love life. [Kristin@E!Online]

Since part of the action will now follow Micah to New Orleans, the show is introducing a pair of Crescent Citizens to interact with him and his cousin. Rey Gallegos (Bad Boys II) has booked a recurring role on Fox’s Prison Break. [Variety]

Michael’s potential new love interest has been pushed back. But she is coming. Executive producer Matt Olmstead talks about the character, who’s name will be Molly. “She has a background that also involves loss — and a recent loss at that,” he says. “So the cool thing is they’re both emotionally banged up and they can empathize with each other. But they’re not going to be jumping into bed together, because they both recently lost someone dear to them.” [Michael Ausiello]

Matt Olmstead talks about Mahone: “A couple ghosts from [Mahone's] past enter his life and make certain deals,” Olmstead reveals. “He clearly wants out of there and [was certainly] successful in leveraging his way onto the escape, but then a competing offer comes in that initially looks legitimate.” Mahone’s drug-dependency issues will further complicate matters. “You have a guy who really starts to spiral. This is a guy who is absolutely getting taxed and pushed to his limits. We’ll see how he gets out of it.” [Michael Ausiello]

Pushing Daisies

Due to some last-minute reshuffling, Broadway VIP Raul Esparza will now be playing traveling homeopathic-antidepressant representative/salesman Alfredo Aldarisio, the role originally earmarked for Paul Reubens. Pee-wee’s not going anywhere, though. The show is introducing a trio of witches! OK, two witches and one sorceress who may not be exactly what she appears. [Michael Ausiello]

The Book of Shadows is making a return to TV, but this time the Halliwell sisters are not involved. This time it’s a group of desperate housewives who form a coven when they get their hands on the magic book. Also, the way Dean receives the amulet has nothing to do with supernatural forces! [Kristin@E!Online]

Dean tries to convince Sam to get a tree, presents and a special dinner to celebrate Christmas right, like they did when they were kids. We see flashbacks of a young Sam and Dean in Nebraska on Christmas Eve in 1991. Sam begs Dean to tell him why they move so much and what their father does and when Sam brings up their mother, Dean yells and storms out. That is when Sam reads their father’s journal for the first time and learns of the monsters he hunts.
