Executive producer Robert Carlock says in the upcoming Halloween episode: “Frank and Toofer realize that the hot girls that they can’t seem to meet on Halloween—which is a magical night for drunk women in strange costumes—have all been going to these fabulous parties that Jenna has access to. So they’re trying to use Jenna to get in there, and she’s trying to use them right back for her own ends.” (Watch With Kristin)

Dixon’s about to land himself a cougar! “A new woman comes into Dixon’s life, and she’s even older than Sasha,” teases executive producer Rebecca Sinclair. “It’s someone we’ve met before.” (Michael Ausiello)

The spring episodes are promising a major lovefest when three couples reconcile within the space of a few weeks. On the other hand, Teddy Montgomery and Kelly Taylor will be left out in the cold. (TV Guide)

Big Love

J.J. (Zeljko Ivanek) will be introducing us to his parents. Yep, we’ll be meeting the people who brought us J.J. and crazy Wanda and maybe finding out why their kids are so darn wacky, not to mention lots of drama surrounding Nicki’s first marriage to J.J. and their daughter Cara Lynn. Episode 4.06 – Zen & the Art of Mole Making – Airing November 1, 2009
In the throes of chemo, Kitty is thrilled when a surprise visitor comes to town, while Sarah finally realizes that she has to tell her kids about Luc (Gilles Marini as Luc Laurent). Meanwhile, with Ryan and Rebecca’s help, Holly finds a way to keep her financial future from unraveling, and Kevin and Scotty finally agree on a possible surrogate (Roxy Olin as Michelle). Episode 1.07 – Red Ants and Black Widows – Airing November 4, 2009
After Chad visits her one last time in a dream, a grieving Roxie resolves to fulfill his last wish – if she can figure out what it is. FlashForward

Episode 1.07 – The Gift – Airing November 5, 2009
Mark, Demetri, Gough and MI6 agent Fiona Banks (Alex Kingston) investigate a Blue Hand club and its possible connection to some recent suicides. Meanwhile, Aaron receives a surprise visit from a former army buddy of his late daughter’s, Demetri comes clean with Zoey (Gabrielle Union) about his lack of a flashforward, and Nicole helps Bryce uncover the mystery of his flashforward while volunteering at the hospital. Friday Night Lights

Fringe

Executive producer Jeff Pinkner isn’t ruling a Charlie comeback out. “We’ve already met Charlie’s doppelganger in the alternate reality,” he says. “He still exists.” Adds fellow executive producer. J.H. Wyman: “No one ever really dies on Fringe.” (Michael Ausiello)

According to Executive producer Jeff Pinkner, Special Agent Jessup (Meghan Markle) is waiting in the wings and may pop up again in the future: “There was never any length of time [assigned to her stay],” he says. “There’s no end date. She’s an available tool in our toolbox and we’ll use her as we see fit. [But] we’re really trying to tell stories about our main characters… we want to get deeper with them, so we don’t have a lot of time to go into the FBI. I think our fans really want to get to know our [core] characters more and that’s what we’re endeavoring to do this year.” (Michael Ausiello)

Glee

“Sue’s going to give our set list to the other teams,” says Matthew Morrison (Will). “They’re going to do our songs . . . before we do them, so it’s going to make us look like we’re copying them.” Caught off guard by this deception, the club must step up their game. “We have to do this impromptu thing and fly by the seat of our pants,” adds Morrison. Grey’s Anatomy

Episode 6.08 – Invest in Love – Airing November 5, 2009
A generous donation is offered to Seattle Grace by the parents of Arizona’s 10-year-old patient. however, when his condition worsens, she finds herself in a conflict of interests. Meanwhile, Cristina tests her boundaries with Owen at the hospital, and adding insult to injury, Alex is left with all of Izzie’s hospital bills to contend with. (ABC)

Heroes

A certain carnival leader will take an interest in Emma’s power once he sees its value to his still-unclear plan. (TV Guide)

Episode 4.08 – Shadowboxing
Claire is determined to get to the bottom of the attacks; H.R.G. realizes he may be the source of Claire’s troubles; Peter’s new ability is the perfect fit for his job; Sylar’s battle at gaining full control of Matt’s body escalates. (SpoilerTV)

House

Look for House to throw himself into his work more than usual once he discovers that Cuddy is dating Lucas (Michael Weston). Poor House even follows Cuddy to a medical conference to try to get closer to her, and that’s when he finds out about the other man. (Watch With Kristin)

Taub (Peter Jacobsen) will be back on House’s team before you know it. Episode eight features a medically interesting porn-star case that House uses to seduce Taub and Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) back to the team. Taub plays hard to get for a while, but the whole team (sans Cameron) should be back together full-time come November sweeps. (Watch With Kristin)

Law and Order: SVU

Wentworth Miller’s time on SVU isn’t done, and a surprise reappearance is in the works for later in the season. This time, all those fireworks with Benson will express themselves differently. (TV Guide)

Lost

Season 6 will showcase “a version of Claire we’ve never seen before — a Rousseau-esque version.” (Michael Ausiello)

Mira Furlan (Rousseau) turned down the show’s request to return for the final season due to a “prior overseas commitment.” (Michael Ausiello)

Melrose Place

Amanda tests Ella’s loyalty to see if the younger publicist is really the girl she presents herself to be, but Ella ultimately becomes Amanda’s protégé. (Watch With Kristin)

NCIS

What Gibbs whispered to Ziva will remain a secret, at least for now. (Michael Ausiello)

In an episode next month a mysterious death of a Marine leads Gibbs and his team to a high security Navy Think Tank – where the brilliant minds are actually children. (Michael Ausiello)

Gibbs’ boat will return to the show in November. Executive producer Shane Brennan said: “I won’t say where it returns to or where it returns from, but I think anyone who has watched the series and the progress of the boat is going to love the episode,” Brennan says. “The boat is featured in a way that is very NCIS.” (TV Guide)

Episode 7.07 – Endgame – Airing November 10, 2009
A North Korean assassin from vance’s past resurfaces in Washington, D.C. to kill again. With the team’s help, Vance faces his demons while uncovering a complex relationship with a killer that puts his whole family in danger. Episode 6.04 – Jenny Juggs
Christian struggles to understand a patient’s anger-management problem. Meanwhile, Sean and Christian discover Matt’s source of income, despite his efforts to hide it; and Teddy organizes a camping trip with Sean, Annie and Conor to ease family tensions. (TV Guide)

Private Practice

Episode 3.06 – Slip Slidin’ Away – Airing November 5, 2009
The doctors venture into controversial territory when an unexpected new hire at Pacific Wellcare causes Naomi to struggle with the idea of genetically designing babies and Violet makes a sudden decision to try electric shock therapy on a patient. Meanwhile Addison somehow finds herself alone and with a cat. Guest starring George Newbern as Brian Reynolds. (ABC)

Sons of Anarchy

Supernatural

In the tenth episodes, Sam and Dean fight Lucifer and two supporting characters will die. (Michael Ausiello)

In the November 19 episode Castiel, an angel of the Lord, will come face-to-face with the devil. “I’m on a very important recon mission in Missouri when Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) captures and integrates me by trapping me in a burning ring of fire using holy oil,” says Misha Collins. “It’s our first head-to-head.” (TV Guide Magazine)

The Simpsons

Upcoming episodes of season 21 feature Neve Campbell, Jonah Hill and Sacha Baron Cohen, and that’s just the beginning. At the Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror 20th Anniversary on October 18, executive producer Al Jean gave a preview of what’s to come.

Jonah appears in an episode about a kid who’s the Bart Simpson of the elementary school ten years ago. Now he lives with his mother, he’s really pathetic and he’s still playing pranks,” says Jean. And just prior to Hill’s performance Campbell will appear in an episode where Lisa joins a coven, in a play on Campbell’s movie, “The Craft.” “Springfield goes back and reenacts its witch laws from 1690 to put all these witches on trial,” he reveals.

The show, which tapes several months in advance, has already lined up its talent for the year – and this time a lot of them come from the United Kingdom. “We can get anyone British except the queen,” jokes Jean. “We have Eddie Izzard coming, we have Chris Martin from Coldplay and we have Sacha Cohen who plays an Israeli tour guide, who’s extremely angry. He was great. Really, really funny.” (TV Guide Magazine)

Episode 1.06 – Where We Lie – Airing November 8, 2009
Lisa becomes very attached to an 8-year-old boy who she witnesses being crushed by a ride at a fair. Meanwhile, Andy and David try to get a VAD (ventricular assist device) for one of their patients. (CBS)

Episode 1.07 – The Luckiest Man – Airing November 15, 2009
Andy (Alex O’Loughlin) and Sophia (Alfre Woodard) treat a car crash victim named Victor (Mandy Patinkin, right) dying from ALS who asks to be to taken off of life support so his organs can be used to save others. Meanwhile, David tends to a foster parent with pulmonary hypertension who refuses admission to the hospital. (CBS)

Ugly Betty

Episode 4.05 – Plus None – Airing November 6, 2009
Matt asks someone else to be his “plus one” at Wilhemina’s fund-raiser for Tibetan orphans, and Daniel hires his new BFF Natalie as his assistant, making Betty feel obsolete. Amanda keeps a secret from Betty, and Daniel discovers that his mother, Claire, has history with Cal Hartley. Meanwhile we learn the truth behind Nico’s dire straits. Guest starring Jamie-Lynn Sigler as Natalie. (ABC)

Vampire Diaries
