According to Bones boss Hart Hanson, “We are going to do the Grave Digger this year. He is our recurring fiend. I do think we’d dedicate a few episodes to catching him.” [Kristin@E!Online]
According to Emily Deschanel you can expect the following from the first few episodes of season four: “We did a dogfighting episode-that was really sad. And we have an episode where the victim is a transgender person, and at first we don’t know from the bones if it’s a man or a woman, and we have to figure that out. That was a really interesting, wonderful story.” [Kristin@E!Online]
Brothers and Sisters
Casting for the role of William Walker’s long-lost son officially got underway last week. Ryan is described as follows: “Caucasian, early 20s. Good looking, charming John John Kennedy type. The All-American golden boy who commands a room by his mere presence and affability. He is a definite alpha male.” [Michael Ausiello]
Rebecca and Justin’s blossoming romance will be outed to the whole family right quick in the upcoming season. (Justin spills the beans to the family in the first episode back, on September 28.) Also, the reveal of Ryan Walker will cause a serious rift between Kitty and Sarah. [Kristin@E!Online]
Californication
They were recently filming a flashback sequence set at Kurt Cobain’s funeral, back when Hank and Karen were still lovebirds. [Kristin@E!Online]
Chuck
we’re going to meet the Awesomes this season. Specifically, they’re set to arrive for a little wedding-related meddling in episode nine. (And as a consequence we’ll learn Captain Awesome’s real last name!) Father Awesome volunteers to walk Ellie down the aisle since her own dad is not around, but she freaks out at that prospect. [Kristin@E!Online]
Cold Case
Danny Pino’s getting a new love interest this season – a twenstysomething lab tech that, like Detective Valens, grew up on the wrong side of the tracks in Philly. [Michael Ausiello]
Criminal Minds
Jane Lynch will be back for at least two episodes as Dr. Spencer Reid’s mother. [Kristin@E!Online]

CSI
Laurence Fishburne will not be seizing the reins when “the Professor” is introduced in Episode 9. Instead, Catherine and Nick will step to the fore. Things are going to start heating up in the lab between Wendy and Hodges. [Michael Ausiello]
CSI: Miami
According to Adam Rodriguez himself, “The tension is building, and there’s only so long we can probably wait to pounce on each other.” And Emily Procter added, “In the seventh season you get to sort of watch Calleigh sort through the parts of her life she’s unsure about: Here’s Delko, who’s a great choice for her-you know they have a lot in common. He’s very loyal to her; she’s very loyal to him. They’ve been through a lot together, and he’s a kind person. And then she’s got Jake, on the side, who’s kind of the bad boy, and you see her being drawn to that.” [Kristin@E!Online]
Desperate Housewives
If you liked Andrew Van de Camp as a rascal vexing his mom, you’ll love him doing Bree’s bidding. As exec producer Bob Daily previews, “Andrew has been a loose cannon, so the fun thing this season will be Bree realizing, ‘I can take that talent that has gotten him into trouble and use it to my advantage in my business.’” In other words, Bree will play dirty as she makes like Martha Stewart, but employ her son to keep her hands clean. [TV Guide]

Grey’s Anatomy
Eric Dane hinted that Dr. Mark Sloane might finally meet his romantic match this year. “I think he’s going to [find real love] this season,” Eric said. “I don’t know how long that’s going to last. The nature of the show is people don’t stay together very long. We always end up getting back together, and then we break up again, then we get back together again—but I think this year he’s going to find somebody.” [Kristin@E!Online]
Heroes
In the second hour of the season premiere, we’ll see William Katt’s character harassing Ali Larter’s new character, Tracy Strauss, asking her about photos he found of her on lasvegasniki.com (back when Ali was Niki and Niki was a stripper). Tracy denies any connection, and my sense is, she honestly doesn’t know of any. [Kristin@E!Online]
David Anders will be back in episode four. Someone will dig up Adam Monroe, and yes, he will be angry. [Kristin@E!Online]
House

Hugh Laurie talking about new the PI character playbed by Michael Weston: “House is so needy, so desperate, so curious, so unable to leave well [enough] alone that he actually takes the, frankly, unusual step of hiring a private investigator to see how Wilson is faring on his own. Who he’s seeing, who he’s with, is he happy? Is he not happy? It’s an obsessive and frankly narcotic act, but it’s a step he takes.” [Kristin@E!Online]
How I Met Your Mother
Episode two is about the search for the greatest hamburger in New York, although it’s about as romantic as a script about a hamburger can be. [Kristin@E!Online]

[Michael Ausiello]
Supernatural
Prison Break’s Dameon Clarke will be guest starring this November as a middle class father who begins to freak out when he realizes he’s turning into a terrifying fly-like creature. [Michael Ausiello]
The Eleventh Hour
CBS is launching the show with a new first episode and moving the pilot to episode 2 or 3. According to show-runner Ethan Reiff (Sleeper Cell), the “pilot involves reproductive cloning, and I think the feeling was that maybe aspects were so controversial and dark that, even though it was [a good episode], maybe CBS wanted to hold onto it until the audience met our characters and our show through a slightly less controversial story.” [Michael Ausiello]
The New Adventures of Old Christine
Julia Louis Dreyfus’ former Arrested Development co-star, Jeffrey Tambor, has signed on to guest star as Neil (a.k.a. the Lizard Guy) in one episode. The Riches
FX loves The Riches . . . just not its declining ratings. That said, a final decision about a third season hasn’t been made yet, but will be very soon. But with Minnie Driver about to give birth and Eddie Izzard on tap to film two movies, it’s not looking good. [TV Guide]
Ugly Betty
Lindsay Lohan appears in the season premiere and then in episodes five and six, which they’re just now beginning to shoot. According to America Ferrera herself, “Lindsay gets down and dirty, and there’s food involved when she gets down and dirty…” Added Mark Indelicato, “There were milkshakes thrown. I had pizza on me. It was pretty gnarly. Lindsay was a good food fighter. She and America were really going at it-throwing rolls at each other-it was so funny.” [Kristin@E!Online]
As for expectant mother Rebecca Romijn, America Ferrera said, “She’s in a lot of the first episodes-you’ll see her, and you’ll hopefully not see her growing.” [Kristin@E!Online]
According to Ana Ortiz, “I’ve shot a lot about my whole relationship with the Coach (Eddie Cibrian), and we’ve gotten Betty a new apartment.” [Kristin@E!Online]
