Grey’s Anatomy

Heroes
Expect all the regulars who didn’t share scenes last year to spend time together onscreen this year. The producers are looking to weave the various story arcs together more tightly. Lost
The show has started casting the recurring role of Arthur Stevens, a very tall and thin corporate recruiter who is smart, capable and ruthless. “He may smile and his words may sound soothing,” reads the casting notice, “but their effect can send chills up your spine.”
Mad Men
Don’s past comes back to haunt him, Betty lays the smack down on one of her neighbors, absolutely everyone is “consumed with petty jealousies,” Roger is totally an alcoholic, Peggy takes two steps forward and I think one step back with her career, Paul breaks my heart a little, Pete is still kind of a schmuck, Pete’s wife is still kind of a shrew, Midge requalifies herself as a dirty mistress, and Joan continues to be a woman of mystery. My Name Is Earl
Earl is gonna have a major love interest this season. And apparently, he’s gonna snatch her out of the arms of a fellow prison inmate, played by Michael Rapaport. The romance actually starts out as a very sweet relationship. Earl attempts to change his girl’s life, and the two partner up to cross more wrongs off their karma lists. No word yet on which actress might play the part, but producers are looking for a sexy, bad-girl type. [Kristin@E!Online]
Nip/Tuck
John Schneider has been cast as the head of a major adult-video empire who previously worked with ex-porn princess Kimber. He’ll appear in at least one episode. [Michael Ausiello]
Portia de Rossi will be joining the cast for nine episodes playing a lesbian mom whose teen daughter wants to go under the knife. Portia’s character is going to be involved in a torrid relationship with Joely Richardson. [Michael Ausiello]
Numbers
A possible storyline for the upcoming season: a serial killer who offs his victims the same way that each of Jesus’ Apostles were killed. [Kristin@E!Online]
October Road
January 2008 is the tentative return date, and the first episode is titled “Let’s Get Owen,” as the boys run off to bring their heartbroken friend back home. And the Nick-Hannah drama continues. There will be a flashback or two, perhaps to the day the pair first met. [Kristin@E!Online]
Sean Gunn (Kirk from Gilmore Girls) has found a new restaurant to frequent post-Luke’s. This fall, he’ll be appearing in multiple episodes of October Road as a fry cook at the bar where Janet works. He’s also secretly in love with her. [Michael Ausiello]
Kevin Weissman has also signed up for an arc; he’ll play a colleague of Nick’s whose nose is out of joint because he’s no longer the big professor on campus. [Michael Ausiello]
One Tree Hill
Lucas has written a successful first book, but due to a case of writer’s block, he’s having a hard time churning out a follow-up. He has also gotten involved with the Ravens, most likely as an assistant coach. [Michael Ausiello]
Brooke is off in New York being a successful fashion designer. The name of her inaugural line? Clothes over Bros. [Michael Ausiello]
Prison Break
Michael and a new inmate buddy begin planning their intricate escape from Sona by episode five. [Kristin@E!Online]
One of the guest stars we will see in the first episode is nicknamed “World.” As Michael settles in his assigned cell for the night, he is attacked by World who accuses Michael of stealing his stash. World tells Michael to give it up but the latter keeps saying that he’s not the guy World is looking for. Lechero soon appears on the scene and reminds them about “extracurricular fights.” Sammy, who was following Lechero, searches the cell and finds World’s drugs. Michael claims the drugs were planted there. Lechero gives World his stash back. World leaves warning Michael that this is not settled. [SpoilerFix.com]
Saving Grace
In next Monday’s episode, Grace and Leon Cooley are sharing dreams, and it’s spooky. Also, lots of good stuff between Grace and Clay. And Grace is still kuh-razy, scrambling around her kitchen with a gun chasing the visions. [Kristin@E!Online]

Scrubs

Shark
Kevin Alejandro’s character, Danny Reyes, was specifically designed to antagonize James Woods’ character. [Kristin@E!Online]
It isn’t a done deal yet, but there is likely to be one sealed soon between the show and Sherry Stringfield. Says executive producer Ian Biederman: “We’ve already talked to her. We thought she was great in that episode [last season]. In fact, we think she was underutilized.” So if/when she returns, expect her to stick around for longer. Adds Biederman, “I’d like to get her involved in the personal aspects of the show as well.” While Biederman insists that he isn’t “saying anything about any potential romantic interest with James Woods,” he concedes, “I think they would make a very interesting pair. She’s really smart, she’s sharp, she’s not going to take any guff. She’s a grown-up. When I saw that first episode, I said, ‘There’s definite potential here for a relationship, both professional and personal.’” [Michael Ausiello]
Smallville

The Unit

Ugly Betty

Without A Trace
