Eli Stone
Eli and Katie Holmes’ character looked pretty cozy flirting together on a park bench. Could this possibly mean Katie is a new love interest for Eli? [Kristin@E!Online]
Entourage
There will be a funeral this season. [Kristin@E!Online]
That Ramones movie Vincent has been dying to make just may become a reality. [Kristin@E!Online]
ER
At this point, Shane West and Noah Wyle are the only alums officially signed on. [Michael Ausiello]
It’s a very safe bet that the two-hour finale will be preceded by a star-studded, hour-long retrospective. [Michael Ausiello]
If it’s not already obvious that Ray and Neela are destined to walk off into the sunset together next February, wait until you see one of the final scenes of the October 30 episode. [Michael Ausiello]
Greek
Rusty is bringing Casey’s new boyfriend to a Kappa Tau party, which peeves Cappie. [Kristin@E!Online]
Grey’s Anatomy
An upcoming episode will find some of our favorite residents wandering over to Seattle Grace’s never-before-seen dermatology department — and they will not be happy with what they find. Namely, the kind of posh work environment more consistent with a five-star spa than a hospital. [Michael Ausiello]
Chief Webber (James Pickens Jr.) is going to be whipping the staff into shape when the hospital starts to slip in the national rankings as one of the best teaching hospitals in the country. [Kristin@E!Online]
Heroes
Linderman is dead, but he is not gone! And Nathan will be the first to see him. [Kristin@E!Online]
A favorite character’s father will be losing his head—and not just in the temper-tantrum, poor-impulse-control way. Dad’s skull will no longer be attached to dad’s spine. [Kristin@E!Online]
Ali Larter’s new character is named Tracy Strauss, and she’s a political adviser to the governor of New York. Is Tracy connected to Niki? Well, a reporter sure thinks that the nekkid pictures of “Niki” on the Internet are not just a case of mistaken identity. Also, when we pick up the story, Tracy is angling to get Nathan Petrelli a pretty good government job. There has to be a tie between Niki and Tracy in there somewhere, and if you want to know exactly how, email Mr. Linderman, because he knows, and he might be the mastermind behind the whole switcheroo. [Kristin@E!Online]
House
Damages’ Emmy-nominated Zeljko Ivanek has signed on to be House’s latest patient of the week. His episode starts shooting later this month. [Michael Ausiello]
How I Met Your Mother
Good news for Sarah Chalke fans. She’s set to be in four of the first six episodes this season, and HIMYM boss Craig Thomas isn’t ruling her out as the mother! [Kristin@E!Online]
While all signs point to Stella saying yes to Ted’s proposal, these two may not be out of the woods yet. Seems the doc may (unwittingly) have a “test” to pass, and it involves how she reacts to Ted’s favorite movie. [TV Guide]
Barney his feelings for Robin — just not to her. Or to Ted. [TV Guide]
Law and Order: SVU
The Shield’s CCH Pounder is returning as attorney Carolyn Maddox this fall to defend her most high-profile client yet: Stabler. [Michael Ausiello]
Private Practice
Grant Show is playing Addison’s older brother. [Michael Ausiello]
Psych
Gus’ mom and dad (Ernie Hudson and Phylicia Rashad) will be back for the special Christmas episode, and we’ll also be introduced to Gus’ big sister Joy. [Kristin@E!Online]
Rules of Engagement
Early in the season, David Spade’s Russell will start dating a girl who may turn out to be his daughter. [Michael Ausiello]
Supernatural
In the fifth episode of the new season, a rugaru (think wolfman) is on the loose and after Dean. [TV Guide]
Smallville
Smallville’s version of Flash, is not involved in the September 18 premiere, but he could resurface later in the season. [TV Guide]
The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Cameron ends up in a halfway house. She will forget John and throw him up against a wall when he finally catches her. [Kristin@E!Online]
The Office
Rich Sommer is going to be playing one of Pam’s classmates. They’ll have just enough of a flirtation to make Jim a little insecure. [Kristin@E!Online]
