10 Things I Hate About You
Look for a major rager at the Stratford house (apparently daddy Stratford is MIA for the night), wherein one of the sisters kisses a boy and the other one gets so drunk that the next morning she can’t remember what she did with the object of her affection. (Watch With Kristin)
30 Rock
Jenna’s career will literally start sucking when she lands the female lead in a second-rate Twilight franchise. “For tax reasons, they shoot it in Iceland and then they realize the sun doesn’t set,” explains executive producer Robert Carlock. “So they’re shooting a vampire movie without having light.” (Michael Ausiello)
90210
Jessica Stroup teases about Silver and Dixon: “Will you see us kiss? Yes. Will we continue to kiss for the whole season? I don’t know.” While both have new love interests coming in, they still care for each other. Tristan Wilds tells us, “It’s definitely a rocky relationship. We’re having our ups and our downs. You never know where we fall, but right now we’re separated.” (Watch With Kristin)
Trevor Donovan is coming onboard as the rich son of an Oscar winner who stirs things up with Adrianna and Navid. “I have a connection with Adrianna. We have a little past, so obviously I’m creating a little tension, a little drama,” says Donovan. Is he a bad boy? “Not intentionally. He is causing a little trouble, but he’s somewhat oblivious to it.” (Watch With Kristin)
Don’t worry about Kelly getting involved in any rumored love triangles. “I definitely am not going to allow Kelly to be a homewrecker,” Jennie Garth says. “The producers and I have talked about it. It’s not something I’m interested in, and it’s not something they’re going to do.” Why not some added drama? “I’ve spent too many years trying to create this woman other women can trust,” she said. (Watch With Kristin)

Meanwhile, Linda is matched with Greg, who is also attractive and charming, but has one tiny little eccentricity. Desperate Housewives
“I don’t see Drea [de Matteo] as a replacement for Nicolette [Sheridan],” creator Marc Cherry says. “Her character is more a replacement for Neal [McDonough] in that she’s [the focus] of the new mystery.” Cherry goes on to describe Drea’s matriarch, Angie Bolen, as “a very loving but tough Italian woman who comes [to Wisteria Lane] with her husband and her kid. They’re running from something. We understand through her actions in the first couple of episodes that she’s a smart woman who will do what she has to to protect her family.” (Michael Ausiello)
Orson won’t catch on to his wife’s affair — at least not at first. “We’re going to play him just not understanding what’s going on,” explains creator Marc Cherry. “He finally gets wind of it and it’ll build to a shocking conclusion in our 10th episode. We’ve got an interesting cliffhanger involving the threesome.” (Michael Ausiello)
Dollhouse
According to both Tahmoh Penikett and Eliza Dushku, Echo and Ballard will grow closer this season. As Eliza says, “Echo doesn’t know entirely what’s going on yet…[but] as she becomes more and more self-aware, she’s recognizing this constant, tall, dark, looming man in the Dollhouse.” We would have said handsome in lieu of looming, but her point is taken. As Tahmoh explains it, “They have a connection. It’s not a physical attraction, but I hope it’s something that we explore a lot more this season. You’re not quite sure what it is. There’s a past, there’s a history, there’s an understanding between them that’s very different. I think the audience is really going to like it and be really curious about where we’re going in the first few episodes.” (Watch With Kristin)
Echo isn’t the only active who’s going to be exploring her nascent feelings for someone else. Enver Gjokaj says, “Sierra and Victor are definitely still involved. They’re going to explore that relationship more. They explore the Sierra-and-Victor love as dolls, but then also they’re going to go into the backstory of both of them.” (Watch With Kristin)
Episode 1, Vows
Picking up a few months after the Season 1 finale, Echo (Eliza Dushku) is the new bride of a charismatic businessman (guest star Jamie Bamber), who is tied to an old FBI case that Paul (Tahmoh Penikett) was unable to close. Meanwhile, Dr. Saunders struggles with her discovery that she is a Doll and targets Topher. (IO9)
Episode 2, Belle Chose:
Michael Hogan guest stars as a client of the Dollhouse who comes to Adelle (Olivia Williams) for help with a psychotic family member. Topher (Fran Kranz) accidentally crosses Echo and Victor’s (Enver Gjokaj) imprints while there[sic] are on different assignments. (IO9)
Eastwick
In the fifth episode, Roxie will fill in for Bun, the Eastwick tour guide, when he suffers a bout of memory loss. She may not be the best choice, though, as the tourists question her historical accuracy, and at least one thinks she’s an outright weirdo when she has a vision mid-tour. One of the tourists also asks about Eastwick’s tradition of burning coffins at Halloween to symbolize the release of burdens.
Apparently, the tradition doesn’t go well, because later Roxie screams that there is someone in the fire. She begs a fireman to put the fire out, but he misunderstands her because of the loud music playing at the Halloween celebration.
Also during this episode, Kat and Joanna have a fight after Kat kisses Will, which Mrs. Greenberg, an elderly patient at the hospital where Kat works, overhears. Mrs. Greenberg then steps in with her two cents. And Penny approaches a group of folks outside the Eastwick Cafe and asks them if they’ve seen Joanna recently. When one boy, looking at Joanna’s picture, comments that he’d “tap” that, Penny retorts that he’s never tapped anything other than himself. (SpoilerTV)
Friday Night Lights
Kim Dickens will be back for at least two episodes. (Michael Ausiello)
Fringe
Peter doesn’t really have any significant scenes with Olivia in the season premiere. But he does spend some QT with both Agent Amy Jessup (new cast member Meghan Markle) and Olivia’s sister Rachel (Ari Graynor). (TV Guide)
In episode 1×06, “Earthling,” we’re going to meet Diane, Broyes’ attractive, African-American ex-wife. (SpoilerTV)
And in episode 1×07, “Of Human Action,” we’ll meet FBI director McKenna, a former colleague of Broyles. Plus Tyler Carson, a 15-year-old boy who has a worried look all the time. (SpoilerTV)

Birthday Presence – Airing September 25, 2009 Season Premiere
Melinda gives birth to a baby boy who also has the gift of seeing spirits, but with one important difference which will have far-reaching consequences. (CBS)
Gossip Girl
The show is currently shooting a scene which has Chuck Bass kiss another man. The person he kisses is Neal Bledsoe, who’s guest-starring in episode 6 as Josh Ellis, NYU’s head of freshman affairs. Since Josh is tasked with selecting an incoming student for the honor of delivering the freshman speech, he’s a person of interest to Blair. In fact, she’s so determined to snag the slot that she goes so far as to pimp out her boyfriend out to the gay guy in charge. (Michael Ausiello)
Olivia’s (Hilary Duff) new guy is actually an old flame. Olivia first appears in episode four on Gossip Girl this season, and shortly thereafter we meet her ex-boyfriend, who’s interested in getting back in her life. (Watch With Kristin)
Greek
Ashleigh and Casey are having big problems this season. Amber Stevens says, “Their friendship will be tested. [The fight] won’t last too long, but they are definitely unhappy with each other and have to figure out if they can make their friendship work. Ashleigh is mad at a lot of people next season.” (Watch With Kristin)
Dilshad Vadsaria teases, “There’s a whole Comic-Con episode. There are aliens involved.” (Watch With Kristin)
Dilshad Vadsaria talking about the new season: “We start where we left off and there’s flashbacks to the End of the World party that show the audience things no one knew about in the season finale. Every character is affected by what happens at this party. Rebecca did something really bad to a friend. She really hurt a really good friend, so she’s trying to make up for it. It’s somebody who she cares about, and Rebecca doesn’t do that for everybody. In this case, Rebecca is actually apologetic, and she does truly feel bad and tries to redeem herself. Maybe not in the best way, but she tries.” (Watch With Kristin)
Amber Stevens talking about the new season: “Something big has happened at the End of the World party, and it will cause some problems between Ashleigh and Fisher [Andrew West]. Ashleigh will have Fisher on a short leash for a little while, while they try to figure out if their relationship is worth salvaging. Something does happen where they are going to have some problems between the two of them.” (Watch With Kristin)
Amber Stevens talking about the ZBZ house this season: “What’s going on with the ZBZ house is that they’re no longer No. 1 on campus. There’s a possibility of making the house No. 1 again, and it all falls on Ashleigh, and she doesn’t know what the hell she’s doing. She doesn’t have any experience and never even asked to be the president. She has no idea what her duties entail and that gets her in trouble with the new pledges in the house. She is asking Casey all the time for help, and just trying to figure out what to do.” (Watch With Kristin)
Is Cappie going to come to his senses and be with Casey? The question will be answered this season. You’ll have to wait a little bit to really get into what’s going to happen, but first episode back Casey and Cappie are going to figure it out. You’ll get some sort of answer right at the beginning of the season. I don’t know that Ashleigh really approves Cappie for Casey, but she knows they’re meant for each other. (Watch With Kristin)
There are no specific love interests for Rebecca, but there might be a little spark that doesn’t necessarily come to fruition. They want to see where that goes and where they’re going to take that relationship, but there is a spark. I think now you’re going to see Rebecca figuring out that she’s in the house and in college, so she’s going to have fun. There are things that she does, and you kind of wish you could do it. She’s going to be that girl. (Watch With Kristin)
The friendship with Cappie and Evan [Jake McDorman]—they are trying to figure out if they can be friends with each other. Also, the relationship that Calvin [Paul James] gets into takes you through the season. (Watch With Kristin)
Ashleigh has an arc on how she perceives people. You have Rusty’s [Jacob Zachar] relationship, not just with Jordan [Johanna Braddy], who is his love interest. Rusty and Dale’s [Clark Duke] relationship goes to a place where you really didn’t think Rusty and Dale could ever go to. I think every character is given something. Also, the Kappa Tau and Omega Chi relationship—definitely with the season finale—that’s going to be huge. (Watch With Kristin)
Olivia Munn causes a love dispute between some of the boys on the show; she starts somewhat of a triangle with the boys. Nora Kirkpatrick comes on the show as one of the Panhellenic leaders, and she’s really funny. She and Spencer have a lot of scenes together. [Charisma Carpenter] won’t be back this season. Not yet, so far. (Watch With Kristin)
Grey’s Anatomy
The show has cast two very hairy new guest stars: a monkey and a bear. Yes, in an upcoming episode, the castmembers work with a monkey and a bear, and no those aren’t euphemisms for something. (Watch With Kristin)
Heroes
Matt Parkman has Sylar in his brain thanks to that botched mind meld at the end of season three, but apparently there will be lots of scenes of Matt seeing a “ghost” Sylar that nobody else can see. And Matt yells “Shut up!” at his imaginary Sylar, and everyone else thinks he’s nuts. And as we mentioned, Sylar kidnaps Matt’s son to get his body back. (IGN TV)
Also, at some point, Sylar is running from the cops (having gotten his body back?) and winds up at the carnival, where they shelter him. He does some menial work, but then gets into a pissing match with Edgar (Ray Park) who throws knives at him using super-speed. So Sylar has to whip out his own abilities. (IGN TV)
“Tracy goes back to her old life working on the Hill, only to discover that she’s no longer driven by the same shallow rewards,” explains series creator Tim Kring. “She wants to make a difference in peoples’ lives.” (Michael Ausiello)
The original plan (which could, of course, be changed at any time) for Jayma Mays’ return to Heroes was this: Hiro (Masi Oka) jumps back in time to the diner where Charlie (Jayma Mays) works, and this time successfully kills Sylar (Zachary Quinto). This jacks up the Heroes timeline (obviously), but the upside is that Hiro then is able to meet with alive-and-well Charlie at a bar in Japan. (Watch With Kristin)
Not only is Claire (Hayden Panettiere) trying to have a normal life, but she’s also rushing a sorority this season. (Watch With Kristin)
House
Cuddy knows that House made imaginary love to her last May. “It’s referenced in an upcoming episode,” creator David Shore says. “She’s aware of it and she confronts him. She wants to know where all that stands.” (Michael Ausiello)
Only Wilson and House will appear in the season premiere, which takes place at the Mayfield Psychiatric Hospital. After that, look for Foreman to take the lead back at Princeton-Plainsboro, which will cause a rift in his relationship with Thirteen. (TV Guide)
How I Met Your Mother

Lie To Me
The show will gradually delve into Lightman and Gillian’s burgeoning relationship. “That’s something we want to take slow,” says executive producer Shawn Ryan. “There is something between Cal and Gillian, and we’ll [explore] what those feelings are. I don’t want to promise we’ll necessary act on them right away, or even ever.” (Michael Ausiello)
This season Lightman is going to go “undercover” as former frat boy, a wannabe father at a fertility clinic, and an underworld hitman, to name just a few. (Michael Ausiello)
Lost
There’s a casting call for the first two episodes of the final season — they’re seeking an actor to play Jeff, a polished and sympathetic public relations rep for a high-profile company. He has to deliver some bad news, and he tries to hide his nervousness behind a professional, reassuring smile. (SpoilersLost)
Also, Japanese superstar Hiroyuki Sanada, best known for appearing in the U.S. in The Last Samurai and Rush Hour 3, will play an undisclosed recurring role in season six. One theory: He’s the wise teacher who helps get an amnesiac Locke back on his correct path in the new, revised timeline. (Michael Ausiello)

Parks and Recreation

(TV Guide)
Scrubs
“I think there’s a good chance the Janitor will pop up again at some point in the coming season,” confessed Neil Flynn who plays the Janitor. “At least once, sort of to explain his departure.” (The TV Addict)
Smallville
Steph Song twittered that she’s been cast as a villain named Victoria aka Roulette, in episode 9×06. ” I get to kick some serious ass in this. all I can tell you is that she’s a trickster, a villain, a master deceiver all in a very tight red dress.” (SpoilerTV)
Sons of Anarchy
A fan favorite from The Shield will return to FX for a guest arc near the end of the season. The actor in question will play a member of an SOA charter in Washington and currently stars on another cable cop drama. [My guess is Kenny Johnson (Lem) who is currently on Saving Grace on TNT] (TV Guide)
This season on Sons of Anarchy there will be…pornography! Sam Crow is helping Otto’s old lady, Luann, run her X-rated video business, and that means there are lots of half-naked girls around to entertain the boys. One of the actresses, a seemingly sweet single mom, sets her sights on new widower Opie, and another, very aggressive tart wants Jax for herself. Tara doesn’t like that very much, naturally, and you will love what she does about it. (Watch With Kristin)
Southland
The show is definitely sticking with the storyline of Cooper’s sexuality. Michael Cudlitz, who plays Cooper, tells us, “It’s going to evolve as we spend more time with him. We will learn more about his sexuality just from being with him.” (Watch With Kristin)
Shawn Hatosy, who plays Detective Sammy Bryant, talked about the new season: “It’s kind of picking up where we left off. It still has the honest approach at this world. My wife [Emily Bergl] and I are still not getting along so great. It seems like we’re heading toward something big this season. I can tell where the scripts are going by the training they give us. All I’ll say is they brought in a gang detective who was a D3, the highest rank, detective three, like a supervisor of gangs. He came in and talked to us a lot about the birth of gangs in L.A. and walked us through all the steps these guys go through. So that tells me they’re probably going to be delving a bit more into that.” (Watch With Kristin)
Supernatural
Sam and Dean’s inability to maintain meaningful long-term relationships with the opposite sex will continue throughout season 5. “We’ve returned to a conceit that works for us and that the fans seem to be able to swallow without vomiting, which is that there’s a girl in every port,” says series creator Eric Kripke. “We certainly have a lot of guest star female love interests that the boys help save and interact with. But at the moment, there are no plans for a longstanding romantic relationships.” (Michael Ausiello)
Anna does indeed return for season five. She first appears in episode two and is slated for additional appearances. (Watch With Kristin)
Picking up where the finale left off, the season premiere Sympathy For The Devil, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) watch as the Devil (guest star Mark Pellegrino, “Lost”) emerges from Hell. The brothers and Bobby (Jim Beaver) deal with the aftermath of Lucifer rising and the stunning news from Chuck the Prophet (guest star Rob Benedict) that Castiel (Misha Collins) was blown to bits by the archangels. (KryptonSite)

Simon Baker tells us, “We have a new character in several episodes by the name of Terry Kinney who’s going to take over the Red John case.” Obviously, that makes Patrick Jane cranky, but the upside, says Baker, is that there is some “nice sparring” between Jane and the new arrival. Baker also promises that there will be lots of continued sparring with Robin Tunney’s Teresa Lisbon, but don’t count on kissing anytime soon. (Watch With Kristin)

Deliberating on what may be his final move to save Sookie and the town, Sam is forced to put his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally. (Michael Ausiello)
In the final episodes of this season, you’ll see a very interesting division take place among the characters. Pay attention to those for whom supernatural events are not quite as super. They are different, and their differences will be explored in future seasons. (TV Guide)
Maryann ain’t gonna stop coming for Sam – she needs a juicy sacrifice for her god. Sam keeps thinking it might be better for Bon Temps and all his friends if he gives himself up in exchange for their lives. Luckily, Sam’s got a savior waiting around the corner. (Watch With Kristin)
Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette Reynold) revealed some interesting information about the radiating light that appeared from Sookie’s hand: “Well, I read the books, so I think she’s part fairy. That was her fairy power.” According to Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton), “[Sookie's power] is a funky little thing,” but she also says the show won’t answer that question for certain any time in season two.” (TrueBloodNet)
When asked who is going to help Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) out of trouble, Tara Buck, who plays Fangtasia waitress Ginger said: “We’ve got Sam (Sam Trammell) running from Maryann (Michelle Forbes), and he may actually…” Tara wants to keep her job, so she couldn’t say everything, but he may actually seek refuge with Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) and Pam (Kristin Bauer) at Fangtasia in Shreveport, La. Young Marshall, for his part, is still “struggling with his identity.” As Corbett tells it, “He has a young male friend and a young female friend, and he doesn’t really know what’s up.” (Watch With Kristin)

Everything changes.” (Watch With Kristin)
