Boston Legal

Alan sues the drug companies when a man comes to him and tells him that he has been taking 42 different medications daily. Chuck

Chuck has to go undercover to try and seduce a woman named Sasha to get back the cipher that was stolen from Casey. He is shocked to learn that Casey and Sarah have been taken hostage by the woman after he has stolen the cipher and run. [SpoilerFix.com]

Cold Case

The team investigates the death of Mike “Bad Moon” McShane, a 20-year-old who played football for the University of Philadelphia back in 1974. Mike was raised by a single mother and went to university thanks to a football scholarship. [SpoilerFix.com]

Dirty Sexy Money

Nick may cave in and act on his undying attraction to Karen. [TV Guide]

Simon’s anti-Darlings agenda may be thrown for a loop when real emotions get involved. [TV Guide]

Jeremy will have double the trouble to make with twin sis Juliet AWOL, and he’ll be juggling two women (Lucy Liu’s attorney and Nick’s wife, Lisa). [TV Guide]

Friday Night Lights

Season three picks up eight months later as the new school year is starting. [Michael Ausiello]

Tim (Taylor Kitsch), Matt (Zach Gilford), Tyra (Adrianne Palicki) and Lyla (Minka Kelly) are all entering their senior years this season. The knowledge that this may be their final year in Dillon will “add an urgency to [their] stories, but also a nostalgia.” [Michael Ausiello]

Ghost Whisperer

Melinda talks with a young woman named Grace who tells Melinda that she thinks she is being haunted by the ghost of a man she found dead. Grace and her friend Ryan, a doctor, went to high school with Melinda and the man Grace found dead. The ghost is manipulating blood in the OR with Ryan and Melinda tells him he has to figure out who would want to be torturing him and why. Greek

Charisma Carpenter is rushing back to Greek, where she’ll reprise her role of Zeta Beta Zeta bigwig Tegan Walker. This time around, she faces off with Senta Moses’ Lizzi, at the National Sorority Convention. [Michael Ausiello]

Knight Rider

In the series premiere, “A Knight in Shining Armor,” Mike must protect a man known as “The Package” as he is extremely valuable to many organizations and governments. A sexy ex-military agent-type named Kelli, who seems to have crossed paths with Mike before, gets her hands on The Package and Mike must try to get it back. [SpoilerFix.com]

Life

Season 2, which bows on September 29, makes it clear that the murderer was just a hired hand. The real forces of evil have yet to be revealed. Also, count on getting four new episodes in Life’s first two weeks back, as NBC doubles-up with airings Monday and Friday at 10 pm/ET. [TV Guide]

Mad Men

Problems surface on the set of a commercial shoot while Don plays hooky from the office; ever-ambitious, career-minded Harry musters support for a sponsorship plagued by controversy; Betty steps in to help Don when he arranges a dinner to placate his upset clients. [SpoilerTV]

Nip/Tuck

There will be some competition for Christian in this episode as one of the guest stars will be Logan Ayers, a refined and very attractive plastic surgeon with an extreme sexual compulsion. Not only does Logan sound a lot like Christian but Sean will go to a strip club with the man. Tess, one of Liz’s lesbian friends, throws a party for Liz. The episode also marks the return of Allegra, the woman in episode “Bobbi Broderick” who had her burned lips replaced by skin from her vagina. This time around, she is looking for a new man and is introduced to Italian Anthony Costallos. [SpoilerFix.com]

Numbers

Keith Carradine can’t seem to shake the FBI. Fresh off his stint as a G-man on Dexter, he’s been tapped to appear in three episodes of CBS’ Numb3rs as the Fed who stands in the way of Charlie (David Krumholtz) regaining his security clearance. [Michael Ausiello]

Prison Break

Psych

Shawn believes someone is trying to kill a daredevil stunt performer named Dutch and tries to convince the guard and then Dutch’s son to let he and Gus in to see him. After talking their way in, they work with Dutch as “helpers” and try to figure out behind the scenes who wants him dead and why. Lassiter is going through a rough patch and jumping to conclusions, nearly hurting a witness he is interrogating, believing the man is the perpetrator. [SpoilerFix.com]

Shawn’s uncle is in town and looking to follow a treasure map to find some treasure. He enlists Shawn and Gus’s help, but gets them involved with some bad guys and a man who claims to the Chief to be a member of the Spanish government there to try and find some missing Spanish gold. Pushing Daisies

A young woman is killed by a hive of bees and her husband hires Emerson to find out who killed her. When Ned wakes her, she tells him she had been committing corporate sabotage, which leads Chuck to going undercover as a salesgirl at Betty’s Bees where the young woman had worked. Olive is feeling the strain of all the secrets she is keeping, including Chuck being alive and her own feelings for Ned, and heads to a nunnery for a break. Chuck has to hide when they get a surprising set of visitors to the Pie Hole. [SpoilerFix.com]

Saving Grace

Grace and the team investigate a case where a mother is burned to death and her young son is still alive with major burn wounds. A reporter assists the police with a sting operation to catch the person who set the fire. [SpoilerFix.com]

Smallville

Chloe has powers, but they’ve changed. They won’t manifest in the same way that they did before. [TV Guide]

We might see Clark with trademark dark-rimmed glasses, but it won’t be in the way that you might expect. [TV Guide]

The show is moving away from the Kryptonian story. Last year it focused a lot on that and aspects of Clark’s past. Clark can’t escape his Kryptonian roots and that’s definitely going to come back and haunt him this season, but this year will be more about moving forward with his destiny as becoming Superman in a way that the show has never done before. Supernatural

Four months after the events of last season’s finale, Bobby introduces Sam to Pamela, a psychic who nearly succeeds in summoning Azazeal (the yellow-eyed demon). Later, Bobby is attacked. Sam meets old friend Kristy for the first time. The two discuss Sam’s hesitance to share news with Bobby. Meanwhile, Castiel faces tough questions from someone he claimed to rescue. [SpoilerFix.com]

The Closer

Provenza is on a date with a woman named Angie, who clearly is annoying him. Then we see the rest of the team and learn that he is undercover as a supposed hitman that the woman hired to kill her husband. After they arrest her, her husband is soon found killed for real and Brenda and the team investigate to determine if she had anything to do with it or not. The L Word

Elizabeth Berkley, who flirted with the L word during her Showgirls days, is joining the Showtime hit for a multi-episode arc, sources confirm to me exclusively. She’ll play the straight girl that got away from Jennifer Beals’ Bette in college. [Michael Ausiello]
