CSI: Miami
The show is planning to kick off its eighth season with a 1997 origin episode that will show the early days of the team. The episode will be told from the point of view of a comatose Delko (Adam Rodriguez), who flashes back to his first murder case with the Miami-Dade PD. Delko was critically wounded in the season finale. (Michael Ausiello)

Danny and Lindsay will have a tough time balancing their jobs and relationship this season as they face serious pressures at both work and home. Look for both of them to face major obstacles, some of which will be their toughest yet. (TV Guide)

Swoosie Kurtz (Angela’s friend Millie) will return this season with a storyline revealing who her daughter is and that it is apparently connected to the “shocking” storyline connected to Angela’s past. In Plain Sight
Once a Ponzi Time
When a Wall Street blue blood rats on his boss’ investment fraud and hides out in WITSEC, something from his past life comes calling. (SpoilerTV)
Don’t Cry for Me, Albuquerque

Law and Order: SVU
Stephanie March’s 10 episodes will not necessarily be sequential. In other words, she could be around all season, but just trading off with the new maybe-older-male ADA. (TV Guide)
Leverage
“Season two starts out with Nate and Sophie running into each other in kind of an interesting way that’s been orchestrated by one of the five,” Timothy Hutton said. “And Nate learned something about Sophie’s current life that he wasn’t expecting, as it certainly impacts whether or not they’re going to get together or not. By the seventh show of the second season, a lot gets determined about Sophie and Nate. It tracks in a rather interesting way.” (Watch With Kristin)
NCIS
Producers are introducing a new male agent in his 30s early next season. The role is potentially recurring. (Michael Ausiello)

Danneel Harris is returning for a handful of episodes as Rachel. (TV Guide)
Rescue Me

The big romance arc this season is Lois and Clark. (Watch With Kristin)
Supernatural

The Closer
The July 13 episode has a delusional would-be cop and a cheesy cable-TV show about a “pickup artist,” and Pope (J.K. Simmons) is in big trouble and only Brenda (Kyra Sedgwick) can save him. (Watch With Kristin)
True Blood
Eric’s blood will bring Lafayette back to fighting trim, and we’ll see the happy-go-lucky Lafayette again. And meanwhile, a developing romance between Eric and Sookie is on the way, by the sound of things. Meanwhile, Eggs and Tara are by no means done, and that sexual tension between Jason and the preacher’s wife is heading towards something. And both Hoyt and Jessica are into each other, but she’s not a one-man type of vampire, just yet. (Zap2It)
Ryan Kwanten says that Jason and his sister, Sookie, won’t be separated forever: “There will be [a reunion between the Stackhouse siblings] and quite an electric one, too, where we gang up for the greater good.” (Watch With Kristin)
Godric (Allan Hyde) pops up in the July 19 episode, along with his lieutenants Stan (Eureka’s Ed Quinn) and Isabel (Valerie Cruz). Valerie says, “Isabel runs with the Dallas vampires, but she kind of becomes friends with both Bill and Eric. And she likes Sookie. [Isabel] has a penchant for humans, and she’s sensitive to this love story they have.” (Watch With Kristin)
Carrie Preston, who plays Arlene, says, “The second-season finale is only two weeks after the end of the first season. Things get crazy in Bon Temps, Louisiana, I’ll tell you that.” (Watch With Kristin)
