Bones
Producers of Fox’s Bones have cast an actor to play Angela’s long-lost husband. Sean Blakemore will be playing Grayson Birimbau, the superperfect über-mensch (kind and brilliant, and hot and rich to boot) who met Angela one hot night in Fiji and persuaded her to become his wife (even if just for that one hot night).
Brothers and Sisters
Ryan has not yet been cast, but he is bringing a whole heap of new drama with him! Word is Holly gets all meddly and discovers the file on Ryan, which reveals where he lives (Bakersfield). Rebecca finds out and tells Justin who tells Nora and Nora confronts Holly, which is a major showdown that’s so intense, it just might spell Emmy for Sally Field. [Kristin@E!Online]
Burn Notice
Kevin Alejandro (aka Danny Reyes on Shark, aka Santos on Ugly Betty) guests as a bad guy on ep two of Burn Notice. [Kristin@E!Online]
Chuck
The Weinerlicious hut might go boom. There have been rumors of Sarah getting a new cover job, so this seems likely. [Kristin@E!Online]
Criminal Minds
Luke Perry has been booked for a guest-star gig on CBS’ Criminal Minds this season, filling the “very dark” role of a bad guy. A spokesperson for CBS confirmed to TV Guide that Perry will appear in one episode, airing toward the beginning of the season. [TV Guide]
Gossip Girl
Good news: Serena and Dan are hooking up in episode two. Hurrah! Bad news: They so are not long for this world. [Kristin@E!Online]
Nate’s dad continues to be a schmuck, and Nate continues to be the man of the family. [Kristin@E!Online]
And I’m also hearing that the boy Blair uses in a blatant attempt to make Chuck jealous is hot, and will do the trick! [Kristin@E!Online]
Heroes
According to sources, Kristen Bell will not be a regular this season on Heroes, but she will appear in a recurring fashion, most likely for five more episodes. [Kristin@E!Online]
The only new regular is Cristine Rose as Mama Petrelli, who has a lot to do this season. [Kristin@E!Online]
Sylar is going to start working with H.R.G. [Kristin@E!Online]
House
The new character on House, private detective Lucas, has a crush on one Dr. Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein). Lucas (played by Six Feet Under’s Michael Weston) is the character being introduced for a multiepisode arc this season to act as a foil for the doctors and possibly be the main character in a House spinoff. In the meantime, however, it looks like he’s going to be another side in the love polygon surrounding Dr. Gregory House. [Kristin@E!Online]
Law & Order: SVU
Michaela McManus (One Tree Hill’s Lindsey and former receptionist at our E! building gym) has just been cast as a series regular on Law & Order SVU, playing the new assistant district attorney. [Kristin@E!Online]
Lipstick Jungle
Rosie Perez and Puerto Rican singing sensation Carlos Ponce are coming to NBC’s Lipstick Jungle for multiepisode arcs in the new season, which premieres September 24. Carlos will play Rodrigo, a contractor and potential love interest for Lindsay Price’s character, Victory Ford, while Rosie is playing Dalia, Lindsay’s passionate new publicist. She’s “fiery and fiesty and the hottest publicist on the planet right now.” [Kristin@E!Online]
Psych
Cybill Shepherd joins the cast as Shawn’s mom, and of course, she immediately takes to inadvertently stirring things up. She makes Henry nervous and nerdy—he starts dressin’ real nice—and she learns all of Lassie’s secrets (and there are so many) when she is assigned to counsel him after he “drew his weapon” at his last four work assignments, “including a cat show.” [Kristin@E!Online]
Samantha Who
Samantha is going to maximum-security prison! Or . . . she might need to do some community service. This all goes down after a high-speed chase. [Kristin@E!Online]
Mary-Kate Olsen is guest starring in an upcoming episode. She is only slated to do one episode (airing this fall), and the powers that be are very happy with her performance so far. [Kristin@E!Online]
Smallville
The writers are going into more of the Metropolis/Lois-and-Clark storyline and moving away from Smallville. Clark is going to work at the Daily Planet, and with Green Arrow (Justin Hartley) coming back, you can bet the Justice League will be popping up again. [Kristin@E!Online]
Stargate Atlantis
Col. Carter (Amanda Tapping) from SG-1 is a great addition to Atlantis but at the end of the episode they reveal that they are replacing her with Woolsey (Robert Picardo). [Kristin@E!Online]
McKay (David Hewlett) helping Teyla (Rachel Luttrell) give birth is pretty intense scene. [Kristin@E!Online]
Michael (Connor Trinneer), the current villain, is defeated but it is clear he had a chance to escape on an enemy-captured Puddle Jumper. He could try to infiltrate Atlantis with its cloak and the technology of the Ancients on board. [Kristin@E!Online]
Supernatural
The title of Supernatural’s season-four premiere is “Lazarus Rising,” This should be the episode that has Dean coming back from hell. [Kristin@E!Online]
Weeds
One of the Botwin clan is leaving the show, and soon, and courtesy of Nancy’s pillow. [Kristin@E!Online]
