Battlestar Galactica

Ronald D. Moore dished at the recent Battlestar Galactica event that there’s a gay relationship in the film (RAZOR) about the Battlestar Pegasus. Admiral Cain (played by Michelle Forbes) is one-half of that gay relationship. The movie features some “old-school Cylons.” [Kristin@E!Online]

Cain is fighting some demons of her own, one of the biggest ones stretching back to the original Cylon War 40 years before where she watched her parents executed by the 1970s versions of the living machines, and being forced to make the impossible decision of leaving her little sister behind in an effort to save herself. [SyFy Portal]

But the biggest skeleton in Cain’s closet will finally come out, so to speak. Remember the disgust Cain had for Gina (Tricia Helfer), the Number Six Cylon prisoner she was holding on Pegasus by the time the military vessel met up with the Galactica? Well, things weren’t always that bad between the two ladies. In fact, before her exposure as a Cylon, things were much, much, much, much different. “Cain and Gina were quite close,” a source tells SyFy Portal. “In fact, they were lovers. We don’t exactly come out and say it, but you’d have to be sleeping through the middle of all this to not pick up on their relationship.” [SyFy Portal]

The inclusion of the original models is full on, and they will likely get more screen time than the new versions first introduced in the 2003 miniseries. “They are going to have the same voice, the same sparkle, the same type of ships, everything,” the source said. “You’re going to see them in the beginning where we feature scenes from the height of the original Cylon War, but members of our ragtag fleet will have the opportunity for a face-to-face or two with them as well.” [SyFy Portal]

Bionic Woman

Katee Sackoff told Kristin@E!Online: “I will be on the entire season of Battlestar Galactica, but I will definitely be a presence on Bionic Woman. How much, we don’t know. She is the original, the first bionic woman, and she’s a total badass. She’s the nemesis.” [Kristin@E!Online]

Desperate Housewives

There’s a new family moving to Wisteria Lane for season four…but the missus is no stranger to Fairview, having lived there more than a decade ago. We’re hearing she gives Bree a run for her money in the uptight homemaker of the year contest. Too bad her 17-year-old daughter, Dylan, is an undercover hussy just like Danielle Van De Kamp, and her husband is a sexy young doctor whom she may have trouble keeping up with. [Kristin@E!Online]

Dexter

Season 2 kicks off September 30 and Keith Carradine is joining the cast as, per a Showtime press release, “an FBI agent investigating a large number of dead bodies recently found in Miami.” What the press release didn’t say was that the body parts all belong to Dexter’s victims, and their discovery finds Dexter at the center of a huge manhunt. He even gets his own nickname, à la the Ice Truck Killer. [Michael Ausiello]

Producers are currently casting the role of Rita’s estranged mother. She shows up to try to patch things up, but then she meets Dexter and the mother-daughter reunion goes ka-boom. [Michael Ausiello]

The mother of Rita (Julie Benz) is joining the show this year and drives her daughter nuts, constantly telling her what to do. [Kristin@E!Online]

Entourage

Lloyd, distraught after splitting up with his new boyfriend, up and quits. Ari panics and hilarity ensues. “He will rescue Lloyd in a way you never imagined,” Jeremy Piven said at the Entourage premiere. “He will prove himself to be the biggest homophobe and the biggest friend to the gay man in the history of humanity.” [Michael Ausiello]

ER

ER is currently adding new characters for the upcoming 14th season. One of them is a Doogie Howser of sorts. And we also get acquainted with Neela’s young cousin, who has a bit of a wild streak that Neela must monitor. [Kristin@E!Online]

Eureka

Henry creates a device that will change Carter forever, Nathan’s power is tested, and Fargo is forced into a position that expands into troublesome proportions. [Michael Ausiello]

Ghost Whisperer

Producers are currently looking to add a new recurring, male character to shake Melinda’s life up a bit. They want a big name for the role. [Kristin@E!Online]

House

Replacements are being sought for Foreman, Chase and Cameron! Producers will be introducing four new underlings – two male, two female – at the start of the new season. Jennifer Morrison, Jesse Spencer and Omar Epps are all expected to be returning as well, but in different roles. [Michael Ausiello]

Law and Order

Producers are talking to Michael Imperioli about filling the revamped Waterston slot. Apparently, his character graduated from law school since last we saw him.

Rescue Me

Susan Sarandon is coming back as Franco’s ex, Alicia, around the seventh episode. Franco decides he wants his daughter back. Coincidentally, Alicia decides she wants Franco back, so she offers him a 2-for-1 deal. Suffice it to say that that’s not going to sit well with Franco’s current squeeze, Natalie. [Michael Ausiello]

Tommy is willing to lie to get the insurance payout, he actually isn’t! He still has no idea how the fire went down and totally believes Sheila when she gives him her sob story BS this week. [Kristin@E!Online]

Franco may be ready to pop the question after all. Don’t be surprised if you see him down on one knee this season. [Kristin@E!Online]

Shark

The ex-wife of Sebastian (James Woods), is coming back to L.A. for season two. We’re told we’ll see quite a bit of her, since she and Sebastian are still very much in love with each other. Her relationship with both him and their daughter Julie will be quite complicated and add a whole other facet to the show. [Kristin@E!Online]

The 4400

Traveler’s Pascale Hutton has been cast as Abigail Hunnicott, the new nerdy girl at NTAC and a potential love interest for Marco. Smallville fans will remember Hutton as the woman Clark met in the Phantom Zone last season. [Michael Ausiello]

The Shield

X-Files actress Laurie Holden (she played Mulder’s duplicitous mole Marita) has landed the part of the new female ICE cop in her mid-thirties who is tough and attractive. [Michael Ausiello]

Weeds

Brooke Smith tells me she’s in talks to extend her arc as Martin Donovan’s ex-wife (and Nancy’s new BFF) beyond four episodes. [Michael Ausiello]
