24
As of now, it looks like Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub and possibly James Morrison will return next season. [Michael Ausiello]
CSI
Nothing’s official, but Jorja Fox may be close to re-signing. [Michael Ausiello]
Degrassi
Marco’s boyfriend Dylan will be moving to Switzerland, but the good news is they are still together. [Kristin@E!Online]
Alex will be in desperate need of money and will turn to stripping in order to pay off debts. [Kristin@E!Online]
Grey’s Anatomy
Executives tied to the show say the fourth-season plan is to add several cast members, including at least one fresh-faced new intern: Meredith Grey’s half-sister Lexi (Chyler Leigh) will become a frequent presence with a multi-episode story arc. They are also seeking a new recurring male character to compete with Patrick Dempsey’s Dr. McDreamy. [SpoilerFix.com]
Heroes
The cast starts filming new episodes next week, so spoilers are starting to leak out! They’re welcoming a new recurring character named Will, aka Blackie, an Irish mobster who’s mixed up in small-time crime! [Kristin@E!Online]
We’ll meet a new character who’s been alive for 1,000 years. This may be the character that David Anders is in the running for.
Sylar will be back next season. [Michael Ausiello]
House
You know that group of interns Cuddy was leading around in the season finale? Expect to see a lot more of that type of thing next season. [Michael Ausiello]
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Stephen Collins will be back this season. [Kristin@E!Online]
Las Vegas
Peterson will end up dead. It seems he’ll have jumped out of his jet and the landing didn’t go as planned. [SpoilerFix.com]
Medium
Producers are working on getting Ms. Rosanna Arquette to do a guest spot on the show. [Kristin@E!Online]
Nip/Tuck
Bradley Cooper will appear in a five-episode arc this season. Cooper is not coming on as a love interest for anyone – male or female. He also won’t be playing a murderer. [Michael Ausiello]
Prison Break
Lincoln goes to a bar in a high rise restaurant. He is set to meet someone there. He sits at the bar and orders water. A woman, known as Betty Crocker for now, sits besides him and starts talking to him. He doesn’t know her, but she does know him and Michael. As they talk, he clearly tells her it is the wrong time and he is waiting for someone. But she presses on and eventually says that it is the right time “ Lincoln” and “We have a lot to discuss. Specifically your brother.” She then gives him an iPod. It is not clear what/who Betty is exactly but she seems to be an agent of some sort. Question is for which side is she working for? [SpoilerFix.com]
Shark
Sam Page will not be returning to the show next season, but it’s unclear why. Producers have already begun looking for his replacement. They are looking for someone in his 20’s not afraid to go toe to toe with James Woods. [Michael Ausiello]
Smallville
The Daily Planet is getting a new editor in chief named Greg. We’ll be seeing quite a bit of him early in the season, and he’s going to be the sexy, smart type. [Kristin@E!Online]
It has just been announced that Kara, aka Supergirl, will be joining the cast for the seventh season. Kara, who is Clark’s cousin, will have all of Clark’s powers and will be able to fly. Kara will also be a potential love interest for Jimmy Olsen. [Kristin@E!Online]
Producers are looking for an actress to play Supergirl who has blonde hair and can pass for 19. The hope is that Supergirl will eventually be spun off into her own CW show. [Krytonsite]
“Interestingly, we want to have Dean [Cain] on the show this year, but I doubt it’s going to be in this role, [the new Daily Planet editor]” executive producer Al Gough said. “We had thought about it, but I don’t think we can make that work for a number of reasons, none of which, by the way, are creative. It’s scheduling, financial, things like that. But the plan is to have Dean Cain on the show this year.” So who is Gough eyeing to play the “Planet” boss? “We’d love to stunt-cast it with a great person, and we’re going to audition for that.” [Michael Ausiello]
Supernatural
The show is adding two new series regulars next season, both of them female and, based on the casting breakdowns, insanely doable. The first one is described as a beautiful, funny and confident mercenary who lacks a conscience, and the other is an enigmatic demon hunter who is sexy, brutal and ruthless. So ruthless that I hear she’s going to make Sam and Dean look like the Hardy Boys. [Michael Ausiello]
The 4400
The third party in play on the show is a group known as “The Marked.” [Kristin@E!Online]
The Shield
Michael Chiklis talking about the final season: “We start shooting the final season June 18. I don’t think Shawn [Ryan] and the writers know what the endgame will be exactly—we have ideas, and there’s been a lot of ideas pitched—but I think they’re about six shows in, of the 13. I don’t think anyone really knows the end yet.” [Kristin@E!Online]
They’re shooting more episodes, and Vic may have a new lady in his life. Well, she’s not exactly his lady, but he will be attracted to an immigration agent named Olivia Murray this season. She’ll be sticking around for quite a while. [Kristin@E!Online]
Shawn Ryan revealed that Corrine will find herself behind bars next season. [Michael Ausiello]
They are casting a new cop for next season . . . a woman tough, attractive and in her thirties. [Michael Ausiello]
Weeds
Mary-Kate Olsen’s character is from Agrestic’s new neighboring town, which they’re calling “Majestic.” I’m hearing it’s supposed to be the sort of drug-free community parents long for, but that’s not gonna be the case for very long. Apparently there are several drug dealers vying to make Majestic their territory. One of those dealers, Renny, will make a nice new addition to the show and create quite a bit of drama for Nancy and company along the way. [Kristin@E!Online]
Veronica Mars
according to the Toronto Star, Rob Thomas had a meeting with DC Comics last Monday about continuing Veronica Mars in comic book form. And the idea of a VM feature film remains a distinct possibility, so the Mars franchise ain’t over yet. Not by a long shot. [Michael Ausiello]
