24

Executive producer Jon Cassar urges viewers to reserve judgment on Tony until after Monday’s finale. “I know right now they are kind of upset that he’s [Tony's] bad, but it all kind of becomes clear in episode 24. We really wanted [the season] to end with Tony and Jack, and that’s how it’s going to end.” (Michael Ausiello)

Janeane Garofalo will not be back next season. (Michael Ausiello)

“Renee is all over the place in these last two episodes,” reveals Annie Wersching. “I got to do my favorite stunt [of the season] – and they let me do it myself. It involves hanging off of a car and shooting and saving someone. It was really cool.” (Michael Ausiello)

So what exactly will the returning CTU going to face in Day 8? “Something in Renee’s past is directly related to the crisis of the day,” Annie Wersching said. “I’m excited for the Jack and Renee relationship to continue and further and see how it develops after it not just being one day of knowing each other.” Extra details, from Sutherland: “I can tell you that it’s grounded in a political shift that’s taking place in a world that I actually think is probably the most realistic thing we’ve ever done.”

Breaking Bad

Bryan Cranston teases the season finale, “I can say that everything that my character has been working to protect—his family—could come falling apart completely. Everything is in jeopardy, and I get closer and closer to being caught by my brother-in-law who is the DEA agent. Then my drug partner, Jesse, develops a relationship. He’s really crazy about this young girl, and I don’t like her, so things come to a head because I don’t like the influence that she has on him.” (Watch With Kristin)

Desperate Housewives

The finale includes a cemetery scene and MJ is in it. (Michael Ausiello)

Entourage

Producers are auditioning twentysomething actors to play Ari’s new assistant on a recurring basis next season. (Michael Ausiello)

Friday Night Lights

Even though it looks like Riggins is headed to San Antonio State next year, Taylor Kitsch is willing to stick around Dillon. Taylor tells us, “With FNL, it’s been an incredible journey and a springboard for me, and I will never say no to them. As long as they’ll have Riggins back, I’ll be back.” (Watch With Kristin)

Fringe

J.J. Abrams said: If the first season was about meeting the good guys while discovering that there is a bad guy, Season 2 is much more about meeting the bad guy. (TV Guide)

Ghost Whisperer

Melinda gives birth in the opening minutes, but there’s a twist. (Michael Ausiello)

Gossip Girl

In the season finale, Gossip Girl calls Nate a whore, you won’t realize Lily-Rufus spawn is already there until the very last minute and there’s a hint that several familiar background faces might become recurring or even regular characters in season three. (Watch With Kristin)

Heroes

Hiro’s (Masi Oka) storyline for Redemption has a lot of time travel, but the payoff is said to be worth it. (Watch With Kristin)

How I Met Your Mother

Alyson Hannigan returns in the season finale and announces she’s pregnant. Before you get too excited, she’s not, but Marshall doesn’t know that until after he mentions she’s been getting fat. (Watch With Kristin)

Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) doesn’t get a chance to profess his love to Robin (because something better happens). (Watch With Kristin)

The goat is back in the finale and Ted gets his butt kicked. (Watch With Kristin)

Melrose Place

The opening sequence is apparently a jaw-dropper – and so top-secret members of the show’s own writing staff haven’t seen it. (Michael Ausiello)

Monk

Even though this is the final season of Monk, don’t expect him to be completely cured of his OCD by the end. Says Traylor Howard, “I don’t know that I would relish Monk being 100 percent cured or normal, because we could leave the window open that there might be something down the road like a TV movie or a movie—a feature—or a Broadway musical!” (Watch With Kristin)

Nip/Tuck

Ryan Murphy teased the final season of Nip/Tuck: “The next season is really about the money, and it’s about how the recession that were currently in, that seems will be going on forever, really affects the plastic surgery industry, because I think people are more worried about their car payments and mortgage payments than about paying for lipo or boob jobs. Sean’s preoccupation in that next season is really about keeping his family and business afloat in troubling times.” (Watch With Kristin)

One Tree Hill

The three new people joining the show next season include: Quinn, Haley’s free-spirited, strong-willed older sister; Alexis, a model-actress-crazy bitch in her 20s who Brooke hires to be the new face of her clothing line; and Clayton, a young and brash sports agent who takes on Nathan as a client. (Michael Ausiello)

Prison Break

The “four years later” coda is done well, and is quite thorough. Among the things we get to see: Someone is sent to the electric chair, there’s an interesting romantic hook-up and T-Bag’s fate is an absolutely perfect one.

There’s actually more than one male who dies, and more than two females are taken hostage. But the real tease is here: We do meet Michael Jr. before the two hours are up. (Watch With Kristin)

Psych

Cary Elwes has closed a deal to guest star in a season 4 episode as Pierre Despereaux, a world-class art thief who’s been eluding capture for years. (Michael Ausiello)

The Office

Charles Minor (Idris Elba) is not gone for good. He’s back in the finale for the company picnic. Michael may not be too pleased about that, but at least Holly Flax returns as well. (Watch With Kristin)

According to Amy Ryan, “Right now Holly has a hot boyfriend. [The finale] is a company picnic, and he works at the Nashua branch, so yeah, he is there. Michael responds to this in his usual, as-you-would-expect way.”

The Unusuals

Later this season, we’ll see Casey, Walsh and Alvarez do unusually poor jobs of keeping an eye on people in their care, then scrambling to repair the damage; Banks and Delahoy try to stop a very old man’s crime spree; and Banks come up with an extreme strategy for overcoming his familial curse and making it to age 43. (TV Guide)

Ugly Betty

In the season finale, Betty makes out with someone, and his name is neither Matt nor Henry. It’s Antonio Sabato Jr. (Michael Ausiello)
