24
Producers are currently scouting locations in Africa to film scenes for this fall’s two-hour prequel movie. [Michael Ausiello]
Army Wives
I am horrified to report that Denise may be getting a love interest. They are now casting for a sexy doctor with whom Denise shares some flirty moments and an interest in motorcycles. [Kristin@E!Online]
Battlestar Galactica
The search for Earth may not take as long as some people think. [Michael Ausiello]
Bones
Executive producer Hart Hansen confirms that the Booth and Brennan will “definitely” lock lips for real sometime in Season 4. “I figure, we’re going into [our fourth season],” he says, “and we’ve had the fake kiss. So we need to go to the next step.” [Michael Ausiello]
There are two deaths coming up. One of them occurs in the May 12 episode, the other in the May 19 season finale. [Michael Ausiello]
There’s a very good chance that the fourth-season premiere will air on Aug. 26 and be two hours long. [Michael Ausiello]
Brothers and Sisters
I think you’ll have a hard time finding a moment that isn’t juicy in the final two episodes. There’s an outing, a wedding, an arrest, a kiss (big kiss), a corporate shakeup with major repercussions for the whole family and most importantly, a huge, shocking reveal that will leave at least one Walker shaking and sobbing at the end of season two. [Kristin@E!Online]
Burn Notice
In addition to the recent casting of Tricia Helfer as Carla, they’re also looking to cast a pretty Latina in the vein of Mía Maestro. I suspect that Fiona is not going to be a fan of either Carla or this new girl. [Kristin@E!Online]
Dirt
Not sure if we should read anything into this about a third season, but Dirt’s Ryan Eggold just got cast in the CW’s 90210 update. [Michael Ausiello]
ER
Multiple insiders connected to the show confirm that there will be an explosion in the May 15 season finale, and someone we have known and loved on ER for quite some time will leave the series. For good. In a body bag. So who do you think is leaving? Linda Cardellini, Scott Grimes, Parminder Nagra, Mekhi Phifer, Maura Tierney? [Kristin@E!Online]
ED NOTE: It has long been reported that Maura Tierney is leaving after this season, so it would make sense it would be here. Lately rumors have been swirling about Mekhi Phifer leaving. I think its a bad idea if its any of the main characters. It was a terrible idea how they killed Romano and this is a terrible idea. I’m afraid this is how they will write off Abby instead of letting her and Kovac fade away happily with Joe.
The season 15 premiere is called “Life After Death.” [Kristin@E!Online]
Grey’s Anatomy
Meredith’s bear-attack brain-tumor guy will bring her back together with Derek as they work the case together. [Kristin@E!Online]
A soldier named Darren needs brain surgery. A military friend named Todd is at the hospital for support. As soon as they are alone (so they think), they share a long and passionate kiss. However, Darren’s father, walks in on them and is not happy with what he just saw. Darren’s father is explained what the clinical trial is all about: injecting a virus into the tumor so that the virus cuts off the tumor’s brain supply. Kyra, a mother and wife, is tired of life at the hospital since she can’t play with her kids and her husband cannot hold and kiss properly because of the tubes, etc. She has been waiting for a new heart for eight weeks. Because of recent harrassment complaints, Wayne, a HR representant demands that all staff members fill out a form listing all past and present workplace relationships. [SpoilerFix.com]
Dr. Wyatt refuses to let Meredith give up on therapy, Alex learns the truth about Rebecca’s medical condition, the Chief insists that Erica perform a risky surgery on his mentor, and after receiving news of Burke, Cristina continues to do things contrary to her nature, going so far as cleaning her always-messy apartment. [SpoilerFix.com]
Heroes
Look for a new villain named Joy. Her power is superspeed—she’s lightning-fast, like the Flash. Hiro meets her in a museum. He asks her if she has powers and if she is trying to steal some art. She convinces him she’s on the up-and-up…and then makes off with a bunch of paintings. She’s described as a nymph-like character with the speed of a cheetah on, er, speed. [Kristin@E!Online]
How I Met Your Mother
Barney will be picking up a new wingman – to be played by Will Forte of Saturday Night Live. [Kristin@E!Online]
Lost
Nestor Carbonell will be appearing in Locke’s flashback episode of Lost on May 1. In this episode — in a flashback scene that perhaps represents the narrative device’s greatest leap in time so far on the series — we’ll bear witness to a historic event that has significant repercussions on “present-day” events on the island. [Michael Ausiello]
I’m hearing there’s a supersecret Sawyer scene in the finale. I don’t know anything about it, but I do suspect/believe it’s the game changer that leads to the prophesized end of the time-jumpy flashes on Lost. [Kristin@E!Online]
I’m hearing Charlotte has a big, crazy night scene in the next episode with someone interesting. [Kristin@E!Online]
Moonlight
A case leads Mick and Beth to a frat house at Hearst College. Ben Talbot is being honored at McGreevey University for having contributed a lot of money to create the Jason Talbot Memorial Hall, a state of the art athletic facility. Beth and Mick’s investigation takes them to the university. Josef helps “friends” in need. One of them, Emma, is ready to spill the beans about some of Josef’s recent activities if she and a man named Jackson aren’t relocated asap. A Cleaner is mad at Mick for letting the police investigate a Vampire matter. Marissa also appears. [SpoilerFix.com]
Numbers
Zeljko Ivanek to turn up in Numbers’ May 16 finale as a skilled and dedicated counter-terrorism expert from D.C. who comes to Los Angeles when a series of kidnappings leads the FBI to a terror cell. [Michael Ausiello]
Also in that episode, Crossing Jordan’s Ravi Kapoor plays a friend and colleague of Charlie’s who gets caught up in the FBI’s investigation. Teases executive producer Cheryl Heuton: “Charlie and Don find themselves in conflict over controversial issues involved in the case.” [Michael Ausiello]
One Tree Hill
Two characters who you would never in a million years imagine hooking up do just that in this season’s penultimate episode. [Michael Ausiello]
I’m hearing that one of the main characters, someone who’s been on the show since the very beginning, is dying, and we’ll find out who it is within the next few weeks. This person is someone who has been loved…and hated. And he or she has about six months to live. [Kristin@E!Online]
Reaper
Sam and the Devil are having dinner with a man named Mike, who seems like a nice, funny guy. Mike is telling them a story about being caught in the act with a woman by her boyfriend AND her husband. Mike catches a young woman’s eye and takes off and when he leaves, the Devil tells Sam there is a vessel under his seat and to use it to catch Mike, who is a very bad escaped soul. Sam eventually chases the womanizer down as he is escaping from another woman’s house after spending quality time with her. He talks to Mike and Mike knows Sam is just doing his job and says they should make it fun. He puts his arm around Sam and Sam uses the camera/vessel to take a picture of the 2 of them, which sucks Mike into the vessel and spits out a picture of them for Sam’s memories. [SpoilerFix.com]
Sock meets a female demon and they kiss, which turns out to be the best kiss and rush of Sock’s life. She admits to him later that they can’t do it again, as she is a succubus, which means she feeds on human life force. Every time they kiss, it shaves a year off his life. Sock considers it, trying to figure out if the high he experienced is worth it. [SpoilerFix.com]
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
The show is hunting for a couple of new regulars: Becky, a hot teenaged hipster, and Catherine, an unusually earthy business bigwig in her early forties. [Michael Ausiello]
The Office
NBC has confirmed that the title of the supersecret season finale of The Office is “Goodbye, Toby.” [Kristin@E!Online]
Writer-actor Mike Schur, best known to Office viewers as Mose Schrute, Dwight’s possibly inbred and fully hilarious cousin, will be running The Office spinoff along with Greg Daniels next season. [Kristin@E!Online]
According to several well-placed birdies, whose decision to sing to me like the proverbial canary was clearly in breach of their confidentiality agreements, there are three even bigger plot twists that will profoundly impact Angela, Dwight, Andy, Jan, Toby, Michael, Jim and Pam. I will now possibly reveal what those three twists are among (or not) the following six options (Possible Major Spoiler Alert): an engagement, a death, an infidelity, a pregnancy, a fire and a coming-out. Let the wild speculation begin! [Michael Ausiello]
Amy Ryan is playing Toby’s replacement, a pretty young thing with whom Michael becomes instantly enamored. And by “enamored” I mean horny. [Michael Ausiello]
The Unit
A new season might get picked up for 13 episodes. [Michael Ausiello]
