Lily and Rufus’ child will show up May 4 to wreak havoc on Lily and Rufus’ blissful, excitement-free union. I’m hearing it’s kind of cliff-hang-y, as the season’s final two episodes will tee up the Brittany Snow spin-off and reveal exactly what Bart Bass had in that envelope. (TV Guide)

Harper’s Island
The first of Harper’s Island’s 13 episodes premieres Thursday, April 9, at 10 pm on CBS. But don’t get too attached to any of the characters: At least two (members of a wedding party) will die before the end of the first episode, and plenty more follow until the killer is revealed in the last episode on July 2. Sadly, it looks like the annoying flower girl, Madison, is one of the survivors. (Watch With Kristin)

You’ll definitely be seeing Amber this season, the only question is when. A teaser Fox just sent out for the April 27 episode: “House’s lack of sleep starts to play tricks on his mind, but he finds insomnia may be a gift instead of a burden.” (Michael Ausiello)
The twist that follows Cameron and Chase’s forthcoming breakup involves a piece of luggage belonging to Chase. And contrary to speculation, he’s not being deported. (Michael Ausiello)

(Watch With Kristin)
Law and Order: Criminal Intent
The new season of Criminal Intent starts out a little slow, but Jeff Goldblum brings it when he joins the cast on April 26. His twitchy, musically inclined detective fits perfectly into the cast—nice chemistry with partner Julianne Nicholson and the perfect yin to Goren’s yang. (Watch With Kristin)
Lost
No promises about a series finale, but neither Jack nor Sayid are the major Lost death happening in season five. (Watch With Kristin)
There will be a bit more “playing of the house” for Juliet and Sawyer — as well as a little kissing — before the action-packed ramp-up to the May 13 season finale. (TV Guide)

NCIS
There’s a chance Gibbs will see some action later this month when he travels out West to meet the crew of the NCIS spin-off. As executive producer Shane Brennan tells it, sparks will fly between Gibbs and Louise Lombard’s character, Clara. “Gibbs and [Clara] have some past history that goes back a long, long way,” he teases. “And quite clearly, Gibbs is not very keen to actually fly to Los Angeles and work with her – particularly when she’s given the lead on the case.” Brennan adds that it’s not immediately clear whether the baggage they share is romantic in nature, “but it is resolved over the two-part episode. The audience will find out exactly what it is, and I can guarantee no one is going to guess what the connection is.” (Michael Ausiello)
Numbers

In exchange, Sam must figure out how to relocate Alan to the Vatican, where the consecrated ground will keep him safe. Meanwhile, the Devil pits Sam and Morgan against each other, and Nina demands that Ben introduce her to his family. (The CW)
Sanctuary
We ended with a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of the first season,” Sanctuary’s Amanda Tapping said, “and this first part of this season is really dark. It’s darker and edgier, and we’re dealing with a force that could potentially destroy Sanctuary, so there’s a huge edge to it. I think we’ll see a lot more of the dark, angry side of [my character] Helen Magnus in the first part of the season.” Adds Robin Dunne, “There’s some heavy stuff in the two-hour opener that I think fans are really going to be blown away by. This adhesive that keeps them all together, this belief, gets rattled a little bit.” (Watch With Kristin)
Smallville
There’s no proper flying or supersuit for Clark this season, but there will be a Smallville “leap” that goes above and beyond a tall building—but it isn’t actually flying. (Watch With Kristin)
We get some Justice League action in the season finale airing May 14, and a bit of injustice is on the way, too, when Jessica Parker Kennedy returns as Plastique for the May 7 episode titled “Injustice.” (TV Guide)

Lois believes that she needs a big story to secure her reputation as a star reporter but the red/blue blur continues to elude her. Clark is concerned Lois will hurt herself pretending to be a superhero but after he is captured by thugs with kryptonite, Lois steps in to save the day. (The CW)
Stargate Universe
Robert Carlyle gives us the Stargate scoop: “In the first three hours [of the first episode] there are three deaths. By episode six, there is a suicide, so people are really struggling up there. Of the first six episodes, the first three are all in one [story] called Air. The next one is called Fire, the next one is called Earth, and the next one is called Water. What makes this different from the previous Stargate franchise pieces is that it’s a lot darker.” (Watch With Kristin)
Supernatural
Those who think they have Sam and Dean all figured out by now will be rather surprised by their individual reactions to the introduction of their “new brother,” Adam. (TV Guide)
The Big Bang Theory
The show is back next week with lots of its usual funny! Kevin Sussman drops by as a comic book store employee who goes toe-to-toe with Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and surprisingly hits it off with Penny (Kaley Cuoco). And since this guy is pretty nerdy himself, expect Leonard (Johnny Galecki) to be slightly peeved—and probably a little jealous, too! (Watch With Kristin)
Weeds
Don’t expect to see Celia’s exodus from Mexico anytime soon, but, says show runner Jenji Kohan, “She may start to like it.” (Watch With Kristin)
