Desperate Housewives
Jason Gedrick’s returning as Lynette’s pizzeria crush, but you already knew that. What you didn’t know is that, much to the Scavo’s surprise, homeboy went and opened up his own pizza joint practically across the street. [Michael Ausiello]
Entourage
Did you catch Adrian Grenier’s documentary on his real-life reunion with his father last year? Well, I’m hearing that Entourage producers have discussed the possibility of Vince going through the same sort of experience, and Adrian is reportedly on board. [Kristin@E!Online]
ER
There’s a very good chance Ray will make an appearance (or two) when ER returns with the first of six consecutive episodes on April 10. A very, very, very good chance. [Michael Ausiello]
Kovac, Abby and the baby are still in Croatia. They’ve emailed a picture and Neela is not so sure that they are happy. Morris, Neela and Harold work on 41-year-old Sheryl McCormack who was involved in a car accident that sent her SUV rolling a few times. Gates and a paramedic are in an arcade to help out someone named Hank. [SpoilerFix.com]
Grey’s Anatomy
The first episode back flashes forward a few months and picks up at the end of Derek and Rose’s latest date. In that same episode, I’m hearing something about a contest to determine who Seattle Grace’s best doctor is. [Michael Ausiello]
House
The two-part Super Bowl episode that got sidelined by the writers’ strike will see the light of day this May. According to a Fox insider, the scripts will undergo a little tweaking and will now serve as this season’s final two episodes. Series creator David Shore tells USA Today that in the second of those two, House will get in an accident and lose his memory of the preceding hours. “He’ll be finding out what he’s forgotten and its significance,” says Shore. “Bringing his memory back is crucial.” [Michael Ausiello]
Lost
Episode nine is gonna feature some richy-rich types who live in a doorman building—the show is now casting for a French-speaking African desk clerk and a “distinguished” doorman. [Kristin@E!Online]
The others have a therapist. And we find out she was married to Goodwin. Daniel and Charlotte have taken the gas masks and left everyone else to make their way to the new hatch. [Lost Spoilers]
Medium
Kathy Baker’s coming back! She’s returning in an episode called “Burn, Baby, Burn” to mess with Allison’s head once more. [Kristin@E!Online]
Devalos won’t be working out of that sad little office for long. Later this season, he’s running for his old job as Phoenix D.A., and he’ll have a little help from Allison sniffing out a political mole. [Kristin@E!Online]
Numbers
Numbers returns with its first post-strike episode on April 4. [Michael Ausiello]
Executive producer Cheryl Heuton talking about the rest of this season: “Never one to say no to an office romance, Don finds himself in a tense situation where he must work alongside two former love interests at the same time — Liz Warner (Aya Sumika) and Robin Brooks (Michelle Nolden). Things become more awkward as he begins to rekindle a relationship with one of the women. Also, be on the lookout for a conflict that will cause Don and Charlie’s relationship to permanently change.” [Michael Ausiello]
Rescue Me
The new season will arrive in March 2009. [Michael Ausiello]
Smallville
Nearly everyone is expected to return for Season 8 except for Michael Rosenbaum and Kristen Kreuk. Sources close to the show say that both actors have informed producers that they don’t intend to return as series regulars next season. However, they are open to doing limited engagements, and those details are being worked out as we speak. [Michael Ausiello]
April 17 is the day the show’s first post-strike episode airs. It’s also the day a long-running character — a series regular — takes his/her last breath. As in dies. For real. [Michael Ausiello]
Supernatural
The Winchester brothers will be starring on a reality-show-within-the show called “Ghostfacers!” — a Blair Witch-style deal with a quirky staff that includes a cute, friendly girl and her boyfriend, a very tall, not easily amused cameraman. [Michael Ausiello]
The Shield
The seventh and final season will debut in September. [Michael Ausiello]
Ugly Betty
The first pre-strike episode will revolve around Betty’s birthday. [Michael Ausiello]
