Matt Lanter soon joins the cast as the new Dylan McKay, and AnnaLynne McCord says she’ll be the first to get in on that action: “He is the bad boy and Naomi starts to love herself some bad boy…[He] just throws her so off her Naomi world and off its axis, that it kind of intrigues her, so she feels challenged. He gets her into trouble.” And it looks like Shenae Grimes may also get into the mix.. “I feel like there’s going to be a triangle somewhere there,” she tells me, “and I wouldn’t complain if I was a part of said triangle.” [Watch With Kristin]
Adrianna reveals her pregnancy to the baby’s father and is shocked by his parents’ handling of the situation. Annie and Ethan are still shaken from his accident but their relationship becomes strained when he starts spending a lot of time with Rhonda (guest star Aimee Teegarden, “Friday Night Lights”). As for Silver and Dixon’s recent estrangement, it won’t last long. Those two have many more trials to look forward to. Bones
When Brennan, Hodgins and author Thomas Vega are summoned by a Federal Judge along with the United States Attorney regarding the ongoing investigation of the Grave Digger, they learn that evidence from the case has recently gone missing. With Brennan and Hodgins having been victims of the Grave Digger and Thomas Vegas currently writing a book about it, they become prime suspects in the missing evidence case. However, when Brennan and the team receive a phone call from the Grave Digger informing them that Booth has been buried alive with only 24 hours worth of oxygen, the Grave Digger threatens to leave him to die unless Brennan brings the missing evidence. The team immediately goes to Booth’s apartment to assess the crime scene, knowing from Sweets’ psychological assessment of the Grave Digger that they cannot tell the authorities about the situation or else the Grave Digger will retaliate against Booth. As Booth struggles to free himself from confinement, the team joins forces to locate him with precious time ticking away. [Fox]
Brothers and Sisters
Justin and Rebecca’s relationship will self-destruct by season’s end — right around the time Rebecca and Ryan start cohabitating. [Michael Ausiello]
Balthazar Getty will depart in April when Tommy gets into some legal trouble and skips town, but it’s the producers’ hope that he will return as an occasional guest star next season. “We intend for Balthazar to be a part of the show through its entirety,” says executive producer Monica Breen. “But to the extent that Tommy figures into the daily lives of the Walkers, that remains up for grabs.” [Michael Ausiello]

When Chuck foils a plan to kill international rock star Tyler Martin (guest star Dominic Monaghan), the agents kidnap the musician to find out who wants him dead. Chuck and Sarah’s latest assignment forces them to pose as a happily married couple living in the suburbs. They meet some interesting characters including Brad (guest star Andy Richter), a cheerful next-door neighbor in the stationary business, and Sylvia (guest star Jenny McCarthy), a seductive and attractive woman who lives across the street and has her eye on Chuck. Meanwhile, Big Mike is on a work rampage after his wife files for divorce, so the Buy More gang sets him up on a dating website to keep him distracted. [NBC]
Robert Picardo reveals: They’re doing a very big story arc about who created the “Intersect,” which is this special super-computer system (stored in Chuck’s brain), and I think I’m not speaking out of turn when I say I figure heavily into that story. [TV Guide]
Desperate Housewives
“Katherine and Mike are going to move in together,” Dana Delany reveals. “That’s huge. We have shot a few episodes of cohabitation already, and it has been a tremendous amount of fun. Fans of the show since the beginning will remember that Mike used to live in the house that I live in now in, so it is a sort of homecoming for him,” the actress notes. “But like all things on Wisteria Lane, it will have its own set of challenges. Carnal Knowledge – Airing February 2, 2009
In retaliation for not playing by the unspoken rules of Constance Billard, Blair hatches a plan to bring down her teacher, Rachel (guest star Laura Breckenridge), and it’s going to be good. After Chuck wakes up in a hotel and only has a minor recollection of what happened the previous evening and who he spent the evening with, Nate and Vanessa try to help him fill in the missing pieces of what is turning out to be an increasingly intriguing mystery. Rusty is going to meet a new girl named Jordan that he falls head over heels for (literally, he falls down some stairs), but Andy (Jesse McCartney) is going to get to her first. [Watch With Kristin]

Beat Your Heart Out – Airing February 5

Building 26 – Airing February 16
Nathan’s plans face exposure as Homeland Security begins an investigation under direct orders from the President of the United States. Sylar and Luke (guest Dan Byrd) embark on a road trip to find Sylar’s father, but are secretly being hunted by Nathan’s agents. Life gets complicated for the Bennet family as Claire goes into action to protect a young man with abilities (guest star Justin Baldoni) from being captured by HRG. Elsewhere, Matt’s prophetic images lead Hiro and Ando to India and a mysterious ally comes to the aid of our Heroes. [NBC]
In a spring episode called Cold Wars: While being held hostage, HRG (Jack Coleman) is subjected to Matt Parkman’s (Greg Grunberg) unique brand of interrogation, revealing how he became involved with Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar) government plot to capture those with abilities. Cuddy has to come back much sooner than expected and she decides to make House as miserable as possible by pulling some nasty pranks that physically hurt him. But the cranky doc has a surprising method of dealing with Cuddy’s anger… No, not seducing her. That won’t happen till later this season. [Korbi TV]
Things between Foreman and 13 will get serious, fast. In fact, Foreman is so crazy about 13 that he is going to switch her drug trial meds from the placebo to the real deal without telling her, risking his career and the clinical trial in the process. When 13 starts experiencing serious reactions to the actual medication, Foreman will have to fess up. A good portion of the 100th episode will be spent trying to undo the damage the experimental drugs did to her. She’s far more forgiving of Foreman’s actions than you might expect. [Korbi TV]

Re-entry – Airing February 4
When a retired NASA pilot is shot to death mid-flight, Charlie Crews and Dani Reese work to narrow down the list of suspects who include the dead pilots son and his current business partner. They must also take into consideration the pilot was about to pay the Russians 35 million dollars to take him back into space. Meanwhile, Tidwell tries to get Crews to remember who shot him. [NBC]
Mirror Ball – Airing February 11
When the lead singer
of a heavy metal cover band is suffocated to death, Charlie Crews and Dani Reese are on the hunt to find the killer. Crews and Reese question the remaining band members and learn that the previous front man had a bone to pick with the now dead singer after he was kicked out of the band. They track down the former front man who seems to have a legitimate alibi and their lead goes cold. The investigation then takes an interesting turn when the detectives stumble across a homeless man who appears to be a groupie. Could this groupie have been responsible for the murder? Meanwhile, Crews learns his father’s wedding to Olivia has been called off. [NBC]
I Heart Mom – Airing February 18
A man is found beaten and shot dead with a mouth full of money in a house with no roof. Crews (Damian Lewis) and Reese (Sarah Shahi) begin their investigation and discover the victim was running an elaborate construction scam that left his clients without roofs or money. While interviewing the duped customers, they meet an eccentric man with a violent streak and the intimidating son of an old woman with a long rap sheet. The detectives work to figure out if either of these men could be the murderer. Meanwhile, Crews has a confrontation with Mickey Rayborn (William Atherton) which sheds some light on the conspiracy against him. [NBC]
Life On Mars
Sam and Annie fans will be happy to hear that romance between the two police officers will definitely begin to develop in the second half of the Life on Mars season, which debuts tonight But that doesn’t mean Sam’s 2008 lady, Maya, will disappear. Executive producer Josh Appelbaum said that because Lisa Bonet just had a baby and has been on maternity leave, we won’t see Maya as much, however her character will return towards the end of the season with some interesting information that may rock Sam’s world. Prison Break won’t return with its final stretch of eps till April, but when the crew does come back, you can expect to see a few old friends. Saving Grace
The second half of season 2 starts March 2. Power – Airing January 29
Clark finds Tess in Lana’s ransacked apartment and realizes Lana is missing. Tess tells him Lex is still alive and may have kidnapped Lana and finally reveals the truth about what happened to Lana after she awoke from her Brainiac-induced coma. Meanwhile, Tess breaks into a secret LuthorCorp facility and is shocked at what she discovers. [The CW]
Chloe walks in on Clark as he is rewatching Lana’s “Dear Clark” video that we saw in “Arctic.” Clark catches Tess snooping around the Talon apartment. Tess tells Clark that she is there because Lana has been poking around “secret LuthorCorp technology,” which raises his suspicion. Requiem – Airing February 5
An explosion at LuthorCorp kills all the Board members and injures Oliver, who was there to announce the merger of his company with LutherCorp. Oliver believes that Lex is responsible for the blast, but Clark and Lana learn that the bomber is Winslow Schott (guest star Chris Gauthier), a toymaker and former Queen Industries employee with a grudge against Oliver. Turbulence – Airing February 19
Clark tells Chloe that his recent “brush with celebrity
” (in “Infamous”) might mean that having a “double identity” isn’t such a bad idea after all. The red-and-blue combo might just be saved for those occasions. Davis tells Chloe that she can’t blame herself for what happened on her wedding day. [KryptonSite]
Hex – Airing February 26
Clark’s birthday gift for Chloe is a vintage copy of “Tales of the Weird & Unexplained.” Jimmy does not attend Chloe’s birthday party. However, he does have a conversation with Chloe when she appears to be Lois. Clark learns fairly early on that “Lois” is actually Chloe. [KryptonSite]
In episode 8×19, “Stiletto,” Lois and Chloe are having some “cousin time” and hanging out. And then they get attacked by two thugs, and Lois takes one of them down with her stiletto heels. The other one gets away with Chloe’s car, which has some sensitive info inside. Lois starts to feel like a superhero, and she decides to spread rumors there’s a new heroine named Stiletto in town, in hopes of bringing the red-blue blur (aka Clark) out of hiding.
