Due to the writers strike, the earliest the show could get back on the air is this summer, And Fox isn’t likely to bring it back on its summer schedule, so we will have to wait until January 2009 for a new season of 24. Another option being talked about is taking the eight episodes currently in the can and creating a 10- to 14-episode mini-season to air in the fall. That would be followed by another 10- to 14-episode mini-season — featuring a completely different plot — during the second half of the season. [Michael Ausiello]

Cashmere Mafia

A gossip girl’s got it out for Caitlin. Well, kinda. She will be outed on a sleazy Website. Word is Caitlin will soon realize she’s really more bisexual in nature. [Kristin@E!Online]

House

Jericho

In the second episode:
Emily learns of a disturbing change that will affect the nation’s future.
Eric is offered an important position.
A big visitor arrives in Jericho, but will he be accepted?
A death gets in the way of Jake’s new plan.
A familiar face comes back to Jericho, but no one’s happy about it.

Moonlight

In this friday’s episode, It’s possible that Mick will get his first real “taste” of humanity in over 60 years. Also… Beth learns a deathbed secret Josh had been keeping from her — and it’s a doozy! [Michael Ausiello]

Coraline is at the center of this Friday’s episode and she’s so not doing her “I’m human!” thing anymore, and we delve into the history of her infamous “fleur-de-lis” and her past life in 18th century France. [Kristin@E!Online]

Nip/Tuck

Bradley Cooper in the January 23 episode: He’s never been cheekier. Speaking of next Tuesday’s episode someone has an HIV scare, and there’s a major shake-up at “Hearts & Scalpels.” [Michael Ausiello]

October Road

Pizza Girl must find someone to paint in the nude for art class. Still preparing the wedding, Hannah and Ellen taste different plates of food served by a caterer; they don’t see eye to eye on the choices. Nick goes to the bank to get a loan and is surpised that the loan officer actually liked his book. However, the loan officer can’t help Nick and suggests that he gets an advance on his next book. One Tree Hill

In the January 29 episode, Peyton is forced to come clean about what her life in L.A. is really like when Lucas visits the City of Angels. Later, Lucas and Brooke end up in a hotel room with a ring and champagne. And, presumably, bed sheets you wouldn’t want to hold up to a black light. [Michael Ausiello]

J.D. taunts Dr. Cox when he has a patient, Alex Macrae, whom he has not been able to diagnose for two years. After J.D. loses Mr. Macrae’s urine sample, he figures out what’s wrong with him. Smallville

While Clark is frozen in the Fortress, Bizarro takes over his life with Lana. Unaware she is with Bizarro, Lana enjoys the “new Clark” and shares information she’s gathered on a serial killer who is draining his victims of all trace minerals. The two conclude it must be Brainiac (guest star James Marsters) and Bizarro sets off to find him. Lex is stunned at Lionel’s reaction after Grant (guest star Michael Cassidy) reveals he is a clone of Julian. Marc McClur, Jimmy Olsen from the Superman films, guest stars as Dax-Ur. [The CW]

Supernatural

Sam and Dean confront a terrible and wicked witch who just happens to know a few secrets from Ruby’s past while they’re at it. [Kristin@E!Online]

Sam and Dean travel to Sturbridge, Massachusetts, and discover a coven of witches that has killed two people. Ruby warns the brothers to stay away as the demon controlling these witches is very powerful and will surely kill them. Ignoring her plea, Sam and Dean go in after the coven and confront the head witch, who reveals Ruby’s past. [The CW]

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Garret Dillahunt (Deadwood, John from Cincinnati) joins the show next Monday. He talks about his role in the show: “Owain Yeoman and I are both Cromartie, which is all the same robot underneath—he just needs a new flesh suit. I show up in episode three, and I’ll be following them around for a while. When we got to where we stopped because of the strike…I actually haven’t even met them yet, but I do interact with a lot of people who get in my way, and the FBI guy Richard T.
