Executive producer Howard Gordon explained at Fox’s TCA Winter Press Tour that there was at one point in Season 7 a script reference accounting for the whereabouts of Bill’s wife, Karen Hayes, but it ultimately was cut. “They’re still married,” Gordon assured us. “Everything’s fine.” [TV Guide]
As of now, we will not see Audrey Raines (Kim Raver) this season, but with Lipstick Jungle’s cancelation making Raver available, producers are hoping to write her into next year’s batch of eps, as she and Kiefer have chemistry in spades. [Korbi TV]

If Dixon and Silver break up, don’t blame it on the cheerleader. Silver will have nobody to kick but herself when one of her ethically questionable creative endeavors backfires, threatening her relationship with Annie’s brother. [TV Guide]

The second half of Season 2 (arriving January 22) will flesh out new complications between Michael and Tricia Helfer’s Carla now that someone else is trying to kill him. Michael has a former fiancée that pops up. That “secret” will raise the hackles of both Fiona and Madeline, Michael’s other leading ladies. [TV Guide]

CSI
We’ll soon see why Lauren Lee Smith’s character, Riley Adams, “seems to have a chip on her shoulder.” Apparently someone close to Riley was a victim of a crime, and she hasn’t quite worked through her feelings – except by pouring them into her work. [TV Guide]

Eleventh Hours
Eternal – Airing January 29

Eli Stone
Several plotlines resolved in the remaing episodes. “You’ll get a sense of a resolution of the Eli/Maggie flirtation, you’ll know what the fate of the firm is, you’ll learn something significant about Matt and Taylor’s relationship, and you’ll see the resolution, obviously, of the cliffhanger that Episode 9 ended with. The whole Dark Truth subplot all gets answered in those final four episodes. They wrap up a lot of things. There’s a laundry list of things that are taken care of by the time Episode 13 ends. Gossip Girl
Rufus and Lily will be told that he’s dead, but then later find out he is not. [Watch With Kristin]
A huge core couple is going to get back together. It’s not anyone you would think would get back together. [Watch With Kristin]
Grey’s Anatomy
There may be a ring and a possible proposal later this season for Derek and Meredith. [Michael Ausiello]
Lexie and Mark experience a little bit of a setback next week that’s connected to this ABC teaser: “An injury leaves Mark in a compromising position in the ER.” [Michael Ausiello]
Heroes
When the show returns, Suresh still has super strength, and Peter will take his power so he can escape a hairy situation. [Watch With Kristin]
Zachary Quinto just shot the episode that introduces his real dad, played by John Glover, and he offers this critique: “He was the perfect choice,” gushes TV son Zachary Quinto. “The only downside was that we shot our scenes outside in a tarpaulin shack and it was pouring rain for two days, so we were literally slogging through mud. The logistics weren’t that great, but the experience was. It traded off in the end.” [Michael Ausiello]
Sylar’s quest to discover his mysterious origins is that character’s [Sylar's father] major arc for the second half of the season. Having learned that he is not, in fact, a Petrelli, the erstwhile Gabriel Gray sets off on a quest to discover his origins. Along the way he will pick up a road-trip buddy named Luke Campbell, who is played by Dan Byrd (Aliens in America). Sylar finally catches up with daddy dearest about five episodes in. House
When Cameron proves a most unworthy successor to her throne, Cuddy reluctantly returns to work and proceeds to take out all her frustrations out on House. She basically spends the entire hour terrorizing him – i.e. stealing his cane, installing a tripwire in his doorway, screwing with the elevators so he’s forced to take the stairs, etc. [Michael Ausiello]
How I Met Your Mother
The show is not only casting Barney’s mom but his wife and son. Seems that to keep Mom happy, Barney has long lied that he’s married… with child — and has actors on standby to play the roles for her benefit. Mom herself sounds like a pip. Though she seems as pure as the driven snow, the fiftysomething confesses to the gang that when Barney was young, “I was a bit of a whore . . . a dirty whore.” [Michael Ausiello]
Lost
Sun had better watch out for Charles Widmore, because he means business. Widmore has her imprisoned. [Watch With Kristin]

In the episode Infamous, tentatively airing March 5, brings Lois back with a considerable bang when meteor-freak reporter Linda Lake (Tori Spelling) blackmails Clark into doing her bidding, lest she spill his super secret. Clark decides to give Lois the “exclusive” on his abilities. [TV Guide]

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
A major character will die during the last half of this season. [Michael Ausiello]
Show runner Josh Friedman about the new episodes kicking off February 13: “We have big changes coming up for John — relating to Riley and his relationship with her and, assuming she lives, figuring out why she [slit her wrists].” Perhaps best putting your anxiety to rest, Josh added, “John’s going to start to be more proactive and take-charge than we’ve seen him.” [TV Guide]
The Closer
Detective Sanchez will be back, but he’ll be hiding a few secrets from Brenda (Kyra Sedgwick) with the help of some of the other detectives. [Watch With Kristin]
The Mentalist
Amanda Righetti said there may be a little romance may finally be on the way for her character, Grace, and Wayne (Owain Yeoman): “We don’t know for sure yet, but they’re toying with the idea. They’re going back and forth.” [Watch With Kristin]
The Office
Jenna Fischer says there are “some big Jim and Pam moments” in the post-Super Bowl episode on February 1. “Pam gets some news that’s pretty shocking, and it’s something she and Jim have to deal with together.” [Michael Ausiello]

The Unit

True Blood
Alan Ball says in the second season Sookie and Bill will jet to Dallas and help the local vampires to find their missing sheriff. But they’re stuck with a third wheel: Jessica, because Bill made her, so he’s responsible for her.
Sam Trammell (Sam) talked about his new love interest (played by The Bold and The Beautiful’s Ashley Jones) who is up to no good. “I don’t know the whole storyline, but I’ve read the first three episodes, and it’s going to be really twisted and dark and exciting. Ugly Betty
Although Hilda won’t be with child, I hear producers may work her imminent weight gain into the show. [Michael Ausiello]
Ashley Jensen, who plays Betty’s friend Christina is the series regular who has asked to leave the show. Ashley is not expected back as a series regular for Betty’s fourth season in the fall. [Watch With Kristin]
