24

There are two twists in Hour 4 that rank among the show’s biggest moments ever. There’s also a revelation about Chloe’s romantic history that will either make you laugh or hurl. [Michael Ausiello]

Battlestar Galactica

Ain’t It Cool News has some excerpts from Maureen Ryan’s new interview with “Galactica” showrunner Ron Moore and and producer David Eick in the Chicago Tribune:

What happens to [Kara “Starbuck”] Thrace “will jump out and grab you,” Moore says.

Moore adds that after the March 4 episode airs, the name of a major cast member will disappear from the show’s opening credits. They won’t say whether Sackhoff’s name is the one that goes missing. But they do make clear that what happens to Starbuck points the way to a major shift in the show’s direction. “It’s a fundamental and permanent change in the makeup of the show’s cast and of the show itself and how the show operates and what the show is about. It’s a very dramatic change of direction,” Moore says.

The third-season finale will be a cliffhanger “which they say will once again take the show in a shocking new direction.”

There will be a trial of Baltar.

There will be standalone episodes about Tyrol’s labor issues and Bill Adama’s ex-wife.

The producers confirm some information about a possible Galactica straight-to-DVD movie that would be shot between seasons three and four, but say it will not be linked to the proposed Caprica spinoff. Eick says it could “return a very popular character.”

Brothers and Sisters

A member of the Walker clan is going to get busted for drugs, and it’s the last person you’d expect. [Michael Ausiello]

Two former flames will resurface in February, one of whom we thought we’d never see again. [Michael Ausiello]

Cold Case

The January 28 episode of Cold Case features a double murder and plays a key role in uncovering the truth behind Kat Miller’s secret past. [Kristin@E!Online]

Desperate Housewives

Gabrielle is gonna try her luck with an older man. Marc Cherry is casting a new love interest for Gabby, the chief requirement being that he must be at least 20 years her senior. [Michael Ausiello]

Dirt

Starlet Julia Mallory is going to get roofied and raped. At least, that’s what’s being reported, and it becomes a major media story that Mallory takes full advantage of. [Kristin@E!Online]

ER

This weeks episode is the last for Laura Innes(Weaver), she is leaving ER. [Michael Ausiello]

There is something very good coming up for Luka and Abby on ER, and it may or may not involve a ring. [Michael Ausiello]

Gilmore Girls

Lorelai is going to go out of her way to help Luke in his custody battle for April. [Michael Ausiello]

Grey’s Anatomy

The show’s currently shooting an episode for February sweeps that promises to make last year’s turbocharged post-Super Bowl outing look like a stroll through Magic Garden. According to several sources, the action centers around a fire on a passenger ferry, and scenes were shot both on location along the Seattle waterfront as well as in Santa Anita, California. [Michael Ausiello]

The show is coming back this Thursday, and you must—must—watch! It is either this week or next week that you will learn of a secret love-child pregnancy that is rather shocking! And yes, it is among two of the main characters. [Kristin@E!Online]

Heroes

A major character is going to die before the season ends. [Kristin@E!Online]

Hiro will not be with the rest of the group when the show starts up again next fall. [Kristin@E!Online]

Christopher Eccleston’s character is going be a mentor type for Peter. And his power might be invisibility. [Kristin@E!Online]

Claire is going to remember what happened to her, but she is going to be pretending to her father (H.R.G.) that she does not remember, and he is going to believe her. [Kristin@E!Online]

Ain’t It Cool News has seen the first new episode of Heroes and had these spoilers for the January 22 return:

The episode, titled “Godsend,” begins with the superimposition “Two Weeks Later” (which puts it just three weeks before Nov. 8, when Manhattan goes boom).

As the episode begins, Hiro, Nathan and Peter have all returned to New York, where we learn Hiro’s powers have been diminishing since he failed to rescue his waitress-girlfriend Charlie. Peter, meanwhile, is in a coma, reliving the dream of apocalypse.

It turns out that Syler did not escape PrimaTech Paper following the unpleasantness with Eden.

Claire’s friend, Zach, isn’t gone for good after all.

Nathan comes to remark that Hiro’s English is much improved. Hiro attributes this to Charlie, who taught him “many things.”

Niki, while in Vegas stir, makes a very interesting discovery about herself. I think.

We do not learn to whom Jack Bennet reports, but a plural pronoun is employed.

The shadowy “Linderman” does not yet surface (at least not overtly), but the name “Linderman” comes up a lot.

Peter does not fly, but there are special effects aplenty.

The new Christopher Eccleston character is indeed introduced in this episode. He sports a beard and we don’t meet him till near episode’s end.

And here’s how it ends: “Who needs God when you got me?”

House

In a March episode, House is forced to confront his feelings for his boss after she starts invading his dreams — but not in the traditional sense. It leads to an intense showdown between the two, during which a long-standing question about their romantic history gets answered. [Michael Ausiello]

Cameron and Chase resume their relationship in March. [Michael Ausiello]

Medium

Coexecutive producer Javier Grillo-Marxuach talked about the show: “My next episode is titled ‘Apocalypse, Push.’ It is currently being filmed, and it features the return of the inimitable Arliss Howard as Texas Ranger Captain Kenneth Push, who—this time around—comes to Allison for help when his own dreams of criminal activity come true, and he begins to suspect that he may have somehow received a touch of the psychic world… Let’s see, what else can I share with you? There is definitely an evil doll in someone’s future (the episode is called ‘Very Merry Maggie’), and further on down the road, Allison has a very disturbing dream about the fate of one of her own children. As you can see, my experience on Lost has left me with the ability to give infuriatingly vague answers, but I hope this is enough to tantalize.” [Kristin@E!Online]

Prison Break

T-Bag is gonna literally play doctor in an effort to evade the police. [Michael Ausiello]

The tape that proves Lincoln’s innocence will really come in to play in late February/early March, thanks to Dr. Sara and a government official who fully recognizes that President Reynolds is corrupt. Unfortunately, because the tape is a copy, it is deemed inadmissible in court, but it could be the key to blackmailing the president into pardoning Lincoln. [Kristin@E!Online]

We finally get a little more background info on Kellerman and why he is the way he is. I hear he and his sister, who we’ll meet, suffered horrible childhoods that affected them both in very different ways. [Kristin@E!Online]

Smallville

Michael Ausiello is reporting that Chloe will die this season.

The Office

Josh Whedon confirmed he will eb directing an episode of The Office on whedonesque.com. [Michael Ausiello]

Phyllis’ wedding to Bob Vance (of Vance Refrigeration) may be upon us because an inside source tells says Phyllis’ midwestern sisters come to visit and we also meet Bob’s twin boys in that same episode. [Kristin@E!Online]

Ugly Betty

Betty may have some competition on her hands. The character’s name is Charlie and she’s described as cute and artsy, in her twenties, and she supposedly catches the attention of Henry. [Kristin@E!Online]
