Community (NBC)
Anthony Michael Hall, will be making a guest appearance in Community’s Christmas episode. He will play a bully who challenges Jeff to a fight. In the episode, he disrupts a Spanish test and tosses Jeff’s test to the floor. Rather than intercede, Senor Chang watches the confrontation with delight. The episode is set to air December 10.
Cougar Town (ABC)
Scott Foley (The Unit) has signed on to appear in three episodes. He will play businessman being shown some houses, who may become intimate with Jules (Courtney Cox).
How I Met Your Mother (CBS)
JoAnna Garcia has landed a guest spot on the show. She will play Ted’s college buddy, Maggie, in an upcoming episode called The Window. She’s described as the perfect girl next door who every guy wants to marry as soon as he meets her. So sought-after is Maggie that she’s always in a relationship, leaving Ted waiting and waiting for his shot at her. When he hears that she’s finally single, he rushes to her door in hopes that his “window of opportunity” has not elapsed. The Window airs December 7 at 8:00 PM/ET on CBS.
NCIS (CBS)
Rena Sofer (24) has joined the show. She will play a no-nonsense attorney with mysterious motives. It is not known how many episodes Sofer will appear in, but the role is potential recurring.
Rizzoli (TNT)
Sasha Alexander has been cast to star opposite Angie Harmon in TNT’s pilot. Bruce McGill, Jordan Bridges and Lee Thompson Young are set to co-star in the drama based on Tess Gerritsen’s popular Jane Rizzoli mystery novels. Written by Janet Tamaro, the show revolves around the crime-solving team of Boston police detective Rizzoli (Harmon) and medical examiner Maura Isles (Alexander).
McGill will play the gruff but lovable Detective Vince Korsak, Jane’s former partner who is a bit hurt that she had taken the likable but green Barry Frost (Young), as her new partner. Bridges (Bionic Woman) will play Franke Rizzoli Jr., Jane’s younger brother, a Boston patrol officer who worships her and hopes to make detective someday.
