Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
Kim Raver (24) has been cast in a recurring role. She will play a new surgeon and a possible love interest for Kevin McKidd’s character. Raver will debut in this season’s ninth episode, airing November 12.

How I Met Your Mother (CBS)
In the upcoming 100th episode, Barney will call upon the sartorial skills of none other than Project Runway’s Tim Gunn. In the episode, which will air around the mid-point of the CBS comedy’s fifth season, Gunn will act as a “personal tailor/ fashion consultant as Barney tries to fix a major league ‘Suit Catastrophe,’” according to “HIMYM” co-creator Craig Thomas. “Tim is basically like Barney’s ER physician for a serious suit emergency.”

Stargate Universe (SyFy)
Rhona Mitra is joining the cast as an alien. She will play Kiva, who is described as a strong-willed commander of an alien incursion force. Kiva will do whatever it takes to safeguard her people even if it is at the ultimate expense of the Destiny crew. She will be guest staring in a three episode arc which includes the two part finale.
