24 (Fox)
Stephen Root has joined the show for a multiepisode arc. On the upcoming eighth season of 20th TV’s real-time drama, Root will play Ben Prady, an officer of the Department of Corrections looking into a parolee gone missing.

Chuck (NBC)
Armand Assante has been cast for a role in the third season of the show. Assante will play a Castro-type dictator who Casey has unsuccessfully tried to assassinate multiple times.

Eastwick (ABC)
Rosanna Arquette has been cast in guest role. She will play Greta Noa, a New York gallery owner who’s connected to Darryl Van Horne. She’ll appear in two episodes, and there’s more to her than we realize at first.

Lawman (FX)
Natalie Zea has joined the cast of FX’s upcoming drama as a regular. The show stars Timothy Olyphant as U.S. Marshal Givens, a modern-day, 19th-century-style lawman enforcing his brand of justice. Zea, who guest starred on the pilot playing Givens’ ex-wife, will continue in the role as a regular.
