CSI: NY (CBS)
Skeet Ulrich has signed on for three episodes this season. Ulrich will play a complex and deeply disturbed killer. The arc will send the CSIs all over New York City on one of the wildest cases of their careers. The three episodes will begin airing October 7. The killer character harkens back to Ulrich’s role in Scream, the horror mystery that helped make him a star.
Lie To Me (Fox)
Michael Raymond James will guest star in the season premiere. There are no details on who he will be playing. James recently appeared on the first season of True Blood as the serial killer Rene.
Parks and Recreation (NBC)
Louis C.K. has signed on for a multi-episode arc. He will portray a Pawnee police officer and potential love interest for the character played by star Amy Poehler. Louis will first appear in the second episode of the Parks and Recreation season and appear in several segments thereafter.
Psych (USA)
WWE Superstar John Cena has signed on for one episode. He will play Ewan O’Hara, a special ops soldier and brother to Maggie Lawson’s character, Detective Juliet O’Hara on PSYCH. In this episode entitled “You Can’t Handle This Episode” he will help solve the murder of two soldiers and take down an officer involved in weapons trading.
Supernatural (The CW)
Paris Hilton will be guest starring in episode five of the new season. Details about Hilton’s role are being kept under wraps. A source close to the show said: “The fans should trust [show runner] Eric Kripke.”
Ugly Betty (ABC)
Smith Cho will debut on Ugly Betty’s two-hour October 9 season premiere as Betty’s quirky new officemate, Megan. With Betty promoted to features editor, she’ll be looking for new friends, which won’t come easy considering everyone knows she’s the boss’ favorite. Megan, who is a recurring character, is not sure what to make of Betty.
