House (Fox)
James Earl Jones has signed on to guest star in an upcoming episode this fall. He will play an African dictator who becomes a patient at Princeton-Plainsboro.

The Forgottten (ABC)
Heather Stephens has joined ABC’s The Forgottten. In a recasting, Stephens will play one of the sleuths, Lindsay, left to care for her baby after her husband is thrown in jail for an unknown crime. The character, originally named Linda, was played in the pilot by Reiko Aylesworth. The show is a mystery drama revolving around a group of amateur detectives led by a former cop (Christian Slater) whose 11-year-old daughter had been kidnapped.

Three Rivers (CBS)
Alfre Woodard has been cast as a lead on CBS’ drama opposite Alex O’Laughlin. Woodard will play Sophia Jordan, head of surgery at Three Rivers Hospital. The role was recast after being played by Julia Ormond in the pilot. The show is about organ transplants seen through the points of view of the doctors, donors and recipients.
