Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
Martha Plimpton has signed on for a multi-episode. Starting with the season premiere, Plimpton will appear as the mother of a young patient.
Additionally, Mitch Pileggi, who first guest-starred on the ABC drama toward the end of Season 3, will return for the two-hour Season 6 premiere, again playing hospital board chairman Larry Jennings.
When Pileggi first appeared as Jennings, he required medical attention after a trip to the Amazon left him with a carnivorous fish lodged in an unfortunate part of the anatomy. This season, Pileggi will have official business to tend to, probably relating Izzie Stevens and George O’Malley, who ended last season in critical conditions.
Eastwick (ABC)
Matt Dallas (Kyle on ABC Family’s Kyle XY) will play a young love interest for Rebecca Romijn’s character.
Gary Unmarried (CBS)
Keegan Michael Key is joining the cast as a regular. Key will play Clean, Gary’s old high school friend, a former minor-league baseball player who had a promising career until sidelined by a knee injury. Gary and Clean reconnect and pick up their friendship where it left off, alternating between best buddies and competitors.
Melrose Place (The CW)
Daphne Zuniga will reprise her role as photographer Jo Reynolds in The CW’s reboot of Melrose Place this fall. She’ll guest star in at least two episodes; her character returns to town after enjoying success in her career as a professional photographer.
Taryn Manning will appear in the debut season’s third episode as a singer whose music video is being directed by Jonah. The week before, model-turned-actress Taylor Cole guests as David’s ex-girlfriend.
Psych (USA Network)
David Naughton has signed on to guest star in the show’s Halloween-themed episode. He’ll play Dr. Ken Tucker, a self-serving sociopath with a plan that Shawn and Gus uncover.
