Big D (CBS)
Nat Faxon and Kelen Coleman have joined CBS’ comedy Big D. In WBTV’s Big D, a New York couple moves to the husband’s hometown of Dallas, where his Southern belle mother (Deanne Dunagan) makes life complicated for his East Coast wife. Coleman will play the husband’s younger sister. Faxton will play a cousin.

Body Politic (The CW)
Gabrielle Union, Brian Austin Green, Jay Hernandez and Jenny Wade are set as leads on the CW’s drama Body Politic. The show is a look at Washington politics through the eyes of up-and-coming staffers. Green will play the president’s “boy wonder” adviser. Union will play his sometimes-girlfriend, a legislative director. Hernandez will play a naval officer. Wade will play an idealistic young staffer. For Green Body Politic is formally in second position to Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Community (NBC)
Yvette Nicole Brown and Gillian Jacobs have joined NBC’s comedy Community. The show centers on Jeff (Joel McHale), a lawyer back in school after his college degree is deemed invalid. Jacobs will play the object of Jeff’s affection. Brown will play another student.

How I Met Your Mother (CBS)
Rebecca Budig has landed a guest-starring role on CBS’ How I Met Your Mother. In one of this season’s final episodes, Budig will play Holly, a new girlfriend of Ted’s.

Limelight (ABC)
Matthew Davis has landed the male lead on ABC’s drama Limelight. The show is a soap about the teachers and students at a New York performing-arts academy. Davis, repped by Gersh and Brillstein, will play a director of the school who steps in as an interim artistic director.

Melrose Place (The CW)
Stephanie Jacobsen has been cast in a lead on the CW’s drama Melrose Place. Jacobsen will play Lauren, a med student at UCLA living a double life as a high-end call girl.

Pulling (ABC)
Majandra Delfino has landed the third lead on ABC’s comedy pilot Pulling. The show revolves around three single thirtysomething women (Lindsay Sloane, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Delfino). Delfino’s character is a girl-next-door type.

State of Romance (NBC)
Steve Howey has landed the male lead in NBC’s comedy pilot State of Romance, with Zoe Lister Jones and Grace Rex also cast in leading roles. The show described as a modern Pride and Prejudice, revolves around Emily (Lindsey Broad) and Mike (Howey), who meet awkwardly on a plane. Rex will play Emily’s best friend Regina, and Jones will play Regina’s sister.

The Bridget Show (ABC)
Jeffrey Tambor is set to co-star on ABC’s comedy The Bridget Show. The show stars Lauren Graham as Bridget, a popular talk-show host and relationship expert who walks away from her career to be with the man she loves, only to attempt a comeback five years later after he dumps her. Tambor will play Bridget’s business manager in a reunion with Arrested Development creator Mitchell Hurwitz, who executive produces the pilot.

The Eastmans (CBS)
Jacqueline Bisset has been cast to lead CBS’ drama pilot The Eastmans. On the show, about a dysfunctional family of doctors, Bisset will play the mother, an emergency-room nurse.

This Little Piggy (ABC)
Andrea Parker has been cast in a lead role on ABC’s comedy presentation This Little Piggy. The show is about two adult siblings who move in with their eldest brother and his wife (Parker).

V (ABC)
Lourdes Benedicto has joined ABC’s drama pilot V. The show, a re-imagining of the 1980s miniseries about an invasion of aliens known as Visitors, centers on Erica, a female Homeland Security agent. Benedicto will play a love interest for Erica’s boyfriend (Morris Chestnut).
