Burn Notice (USA)
Jennifer Esposito has been cast in a multi-episode arc on Burn Notice as Michael’s latest arch nemesis. Her character, Michelle Paxon, is a Miami Police detective who becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth about Michael. She will debut early into the third season, which is scheduled to premiere in June.
A Marriage (CBS)
Bruce Greenwood, Miranda Otto, Kay Panabaker and Nick Eversman are set as the four leads in A Marriage. Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick’s drama A Marriage, an anatomy of a marriage that works, revolves around Noah (Greenwood), his wife, Abby (Otto), and their two teen children (Panabaker, Eversman).
Big D (CBS)
Ben Koldyke has landed a lead in CBS’ comedy pilot Big D. On Big D, a New York couple moves to the husband’s hometown of Dallas, where his Southern belle mother makes life complicated for his East Coast wife.
Day One (NBC)
Julie Gonzalo has landed the lead on Day One. The show revolves around a group of neighbors in the aftermath of a global catastrophe. Gonzalo will play Kelly, who is struggling with guilt over her inability to save her fiance’s life. Also cast in the pilot are Derek Mio and Addison Timlin, whose characters are involved in a hostage situation.
House Rules (CBS)
Zoe McLellan will play the lead in House Rules. ABC Studio’s drama follows the freshman class of Congress. McLellan will play a quick-witted, newly minted congresswoman. Also set in a lead role is Anna Chulmsky, who plays an aide to the Speaker of the House.
Masterwork (Fox)
British actress Natalie Dormer has been cast as the female lead on Fox’s drama pilot Masterwork. The show is a globe-trotting adventure in which a male FBI agent and a female MI5 agent (Dormer) team to recover the world’s most sought-after artifacts.
Miami Trauma (CBS)
Richard Coyle has joined Miami Trauma. The show about a team of trauma surgeons in Miami, Coyle will play one of the doctors.
The Fish Tank (CBS)
Nickelodeon star Drake Bell is set as the lead of CBS’ comedy The Fish Tank. The show centers on a suburban teenager (Bell) living alone in his family’s house. The casting of Bell lifts the contingency on the project.
The Reincarnationist (Fox)
Richard Schiff has come on board Fox’s drama The Reincarnationist. The show is about investigators solving present mysteries caused by past-life traumas. Schiff will play a scientist, a legend in the field of reincarnation.
The Station (Fox)
Whitney Cummings has landed the first role on the Ben Stiller-directed Fox comedy The Station. The show revolves around covert CIA operatives in South America, one of them played by Cummings.
Untitled Dave Hemingson Drama (ABC)
Billy Zane has joined ABC’s untitled Dave Hemingson drama. Hemingson’s legal drama is set at a prestigious Los Angeles law firm. Zane will play the firm’s managing partner.
Also cast in the pilot is Clancy Brown, who will play a senior partner.
