The Casting Call brings together the latest casting news to keep you informed on who is showing up on which show. Find out who is joining your favorite show as a series regular, a recurring character, a guest star or special cameo. The Casting Call could reveal upcoming story-lines, so be aware, there may be spoilers ahead.

Big D (CBS)
Deanne Dunagan, Missy Pyle and Chris Parnell have been cast in comedy Big D. The show revolves around a New York couple that moves to the husband’s hometown of Dallas, where his Southern belle mother (Dunagan) makes life complicated for his East Coast wife. Pyle will play the husband’s sister, who is prone to emotional displays. Parnell in negotiations to play her husband, a preacher.

Glee (Fox)
Cheyenne Jackson has joined Fox’s Glee. He’s slated to guest star in the show’s third episode, which will air this fall. Glee’s pilot will air May 19 after American Idol; the remaining episodes will be held until fall.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
Emily Kuroda (Lane’s overbearing mom from Gilmore Girls) will play a patient in the March 19 episode.

Miami Trauma (CBS)
Jeremy Northam has joined Miami Trauma. Jerry Bruckheimer’s Trauma is an ensemble medical action project set at a Miami trauma center. Northam will play a likable but enigmatic new doctor on the trauma ward.

Perfect 10 (ABC Family)
Candace Cameron Bure has joined the cast of Perfect 10, a new ABC Family drama series that follows a group of teen Olympic gymnastic hopefuls. Her character is the soon-to-be step-mom to one of the top female gymnasts. Perfect 10’s inaugural season kicks off this summer.

The Big Bang Theory (CBS)
Kevin Sussman has been cast as a love interest for Kaley Cuoco’s Penny on The Big Bang Theory. Sussman will play a comic book-obsessed friend of the guys who starts dating Penny – much to Leonard’s horror. Sussman is booked for just one episode, which is tentatively scheduled to air on April 13.

The Eastmans (CBS)
Saffron Burrows, Jesse Bradford and Gaby Hoffmann have been added to drama The Eastmans. The show is about a complicated family of doctors, Burrows will play Anna Eastman, who is trying to develop a cure for autism while grappling with the fact her child might have the disorder. Hoffmann and Bradford will play twins Sally and Seth Eastman. She is a pathologist; he had his license suspended because of a Vicodin addiction.

The Good Wife (CBS)
Matt Czuchry has benn cast in The Good Wife. The show centers on a politician’s wife who gets a job as a junior associate at a top law firm. Czuchry will play the other first-year associate at the firm, a handsome Harvard grad.

Treme (HBO)
Melissa Leo is joining the cast of David Simon’s HBO pilot Treme. Leo will play a civil rights lawyer in the ensemble drama that chronicles the post-Katrina rebuilding of New Orleans through the eyes of local musicians. Pilot from the co-creator/executive producer of The Wire is scheduled to shoot later this month in New Orleans.

    Jeremy Northam…so they finally coaxed him over to US soil and he alone is one mighty fine reason to watch Miami Trauma.
