90210 (The CW)
Sara Foster has been cast as Naomi’s sister, Jen. She’ll debut in April and make a beeline for Mr. Matthews.

Cougar Town (ABC)
Busy Philipps, Dan Byrd and Brian Van Holt are joining Courteney Cox on ABC’s comedy pilot Cougar Town. The single-camera Cougar Town, from ABC Studios and writers Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel, stars Cox as Julia, a newly single 40-year-old mother with a 17-year-old son (Byrd). Philipps will play Julia’s friend and co-worker. The Paradigm-repped Van Holt will play Julia’s ex and her son’s dad, a loser.

Empire State (ABC)
Michael Nouri has been cast in ABC’s drama pilot Empire State. The Romeo and Juliet drama Empire State, from ABC Studios, centers on a blue-collar young man falling in love with a wealthy girl. Nouri will play the girl’s father.

David Morse has entered ABC’s Empire State. The show revolves around a blue-collar man falling in love with a wealthy woman. Morse will play the boy’s strong-willed, caring father.

Inside The Box (ABC)
Lloyd Owen has been added to ABC’s drama Inside the Box. The show is set at a new network’s Washington bureau. The British-born Owen will play a suave Englishman tapped to replace the retiring bureau chief.

Melrose Place (The CW)
Michael Rady has landed a role on The CW’s Melrose Place reboot. Rady will play Jonah Miller, a cute and quirky 25-year-old aspiring filmmaker who makes his living as a videographer of weddings and bar mitzvahs for the rich and famous after moving to Los Angeles with his fiancee a year ago. The role is somewhat reminiscent of struggling writer Billy (Andrew Shue) from the original Fox series.

Mercy (NBC)
Guillermo Diaz has joined NBC’s other medical drama pilot, Mercy. Diaz will play a male nurse working with them. Mercy is a comedic drama about three nurses bound together in friendship.

See Cate Run (ABC)
Ben Feldman has been cast in ABC’s drama See Cate Run. The show centers on a young prosecuting attorney (Amy Smart) who one day is going to be a serious contender for president of the U.S. Feldman (”Friday the 13th”) will play an ADA who works with her and is her boyfriend.

Trauma (NBC)
Derek Luke has landed a starring role on NBC’s drama pilot Trauma. Kevin Rankin also is set and Cliff Curtis and Jamey Sheridan are in negotiations to join him on the medical procedural about a team of EMTs. Luke will play a stoic trauma doctor who tries to be a good family man. Rankin will play a paramedic who drives the fire department truck. Curtis would play a genius surgeon and adrenaline junkie who travels by helicopter. Sheridan would play an intuitive doctor who runs the trauma center.

Washington Field (CBS)
Cole Hauser is set to lead the cast of CBS’ drama Washington Field. The show, from CBS Paramount, writer Ed Bernero and director Jon Cassar, revolves around an elite FBI team that handles crises around the world. Hauser, who recently starred on K-Ville, will play the squad’s supervisor.

Untitled Ian Biederman Pilot (Fox)
British actress Christina Cole has landed the lead in Fox’s untitled Ian Biederman project. The Biederman project centers on a brilliant female surgeon (Cole) who endures adult-onset schizophrenia and thrives.

Denis O’Hare has joined Fox’s untitled Ian Biederman drama. The Biederman project, from 20th and Imagine, centers on Maggie (Christina Cole), a brilliant surgeon who endures adult-onset schizophrenia and thrives. Tony winner O’Hare will play a top schizophrenia doctor who treats Maggie.

Untitled Jerry Bruckheimer Pilot (ABC)
Anthony Carrigan, Michelle Borth, Bob Stephenson and Rochelle Aytes have joined ABC’s untitled Jerry Bruckheimer drama pilot. The Bruckheimer project (formerly The Unknown) is a mystery show about amateur detectives. Carrigan will play a troubled artist recruited for his talent of facial reconstruction. Borth will play a member of the team who has an office day job. Stephenson will play another member of the team, a phone company worker. Aytes will play a tough police detective.
