30 Rock (NBC)
Patti Lupone has been cast to play Frank’s (Judah Friedlander) mother.

Ghost Whisperer (CBS)
Hilary Duff will appear in an upcoming episode of Ghost Whisperer as a “beautiful woman of mystery” who may or may not have been involved in the death of some guy.

Legally Mad (NBC)
Kurt Fuller has joined the cast of Legally Mad. The show centers on Brady Hamm (Charity Wakefield), a twentysomething woman who takes a job at a law firm run by her father (Hugh Bonneville). Fuller will play Lou Peable, an attorney in the throes of a midlife crisis.

Operating Instructions (USA)
Assaf Cohen has been added to USA Network’s 90-minute pilot Operating Instructions. The show centers on Lt. Rachel Scott (Emily Rose), a former Marine who returns from a tour as a Navy surgeon to become head of trauma surgery at a military hospital. Cohen will play eager staff anesthesiologist Eli Funston, who alternately is frustrated by and in awe of Rachel.

Samantha Who (ABC)
Angie Harmon (Women’s Murder Club) has been cast in the potentially recurring role of Gigi, the infamous (and crazy) ex-wife of Samantha’s current guy, Funk (Billy Zane). Gigi plays a critical role in the show’s mythology. Harmon isn’t slated to show up until the show’s season finale.

Supernatural (The CW)
Kurt Fuller has been tapped for a three-episode arc on the CW’s Supernatural. Fuller will play a corporate executive who secretly has supernatural authority.
