The Casting Call brings together the latest casting news to keep you informed on who is showing up on which show. Find out who is joining your favorite show as a series regular, a recurring character, a guest star or special cameo. The Casting Call could reveal upcoming story-lines, so be aware, there may be spoilers ahead.

Chuck (NBC)
Chevy Chase has been tapped for a three-episode arc on NBC’s dramedy Chuck. Chase will play a technology mogul – a mega-billionaire in the new-media business – who is accused by Chuck’s father for stealing his ideas.

CSI (CBS)
Taylor Swift will appear on an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Swift will play a teenage girl whose family manages a seedy Las Vegas motel and who undergoes personal changes that have tragic consequences.

Greek (ABC Family)
Gregory Michael is joining the ABC Family hit Greek as a love interest for Calvin (Paul James). Michael’s character is described as a genetically-blessed, closeted Omega Chi active who comes out to Calvin – which is all well and good until the two end up rooming together. Michael will recur throughout Greek’s new season, which premieres on Monday, March 30 at 8 pm/ET.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
Laura Allen is joining Grey’s Anatomy as Owen’s (Kevin McKidd) ex-lover. Allen will guest-star in this season’s 15th episode, which is shooting this week

Lie To Me (Fox)
David Anders will guest-star on the second episode of the new Fox drama Lie to Me, which premieres Wednesday, January 21. Anders will play Sgt. Scott, a commanding officer who is charged by a female soldier with sexual assault.

Numbers (CBS)
James Marsters will be appearing on CBS’ Numbers. Marsters will play a shady arms dealer who, over the course of the hour, is suspected of doing a lot more than just playing with guns. Reaper’s Ray Wise will appear in the same episode, which airs on February 13.

Private Practice (ABC)
Amanda Detmer has booked a four-episode arc on the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off playing a pregnant patient of Addison. But what begins as a strictly professional relationship gradually turns personal when the two strike up a friendship. Look for Detmar to debut in March.

The Office (NBC)
Idris Elba has been cast on The Office as a new rival to Dunder Mifflin regional manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell). Elba will appear in six episodes later this season. He’ll play a no-nonsense hire at Dunder Mifflin’s corporate office who will throw Michael Scott into turmoil. Elba, most recently seen in Guy Ritchie’s Rocknrolla.
