The Casting Call brings together the latest casting news to keep you informed on who is showing up on which show. Find out who is joining your favorite show as a series regular, a recurring character, a guest star or special cameo. Castle (ABC)
Leonard Roberts has landed a guest role. He will play the partner of Dana Delany’s federal agent character. In the two-part episode, the first of which is conveniently scheduled to air immediately following Housewives on March 21, the feds (Delany and Roberts) are brought in to assist Castle and Beckett on a serial killer case. The conclusion airs the following night in Castle’s regular Monday-at-10 time slot.

Desperate Housewives (ABC)
John Barrowman (Torchwood) is traveling to Wisteria Lane. Creator Marc Cherry is keeping the plot-lines involving Barrowman secret, but The Daily Mail reveals that he will be the show’s main villain in the last section of the current season. Barrowman will appear in several episodes.

187 Detroit (ABC)
John Michael Hill will co-star on the ABC drama pilot. In 187 Detroit, a fictional documentary crew follows a top homicide division. Hill will play a rookie homicide detective and expectant father.

Awkward Situations for Men (ABC)
Tony Hale and Matt Letscher have been signed to co-star opposite Danny Wallace in the ABC pilot. The show stars British on-air personality Danny Wallace as himself as he moves to the U.S. with his wife, only to discover that his everyday behavior clashes with American values and gets him into trouble. Hale will play Will, Danny’s first American friend who always looks out for him. Letscher will play the insecure boss at a smoothie place.

Criminal Minds Spin-off (CBS)
Matt Ryan is negotiating for a lead role in the Criminal Minds spin-off. The show is about a new group of profilers who work outside the FBI, and will debut during an episode of Criminal Minds. He will play Mick, a Cambridge-educated British ex-Mercenary, formerly of the British Special Forces, an expert sniper and a ladies man.
