TBS Picks Up More Of Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns

TBS has picked up 80 additional episodes of Tyler Perry comedy Meet the Browns says Variety. Sources close to the series said the show, which premiered January 7 to an audience of 3.7 million total viewers, will be brought back this summer as a companion to the Tyler Perry-produced House of Payne. Currently in the midst of a 10-episode test run, Meet the Browns yielded the highest-rated TBS premiere since the House of Payne premiere in June 2007.
