TV Guide Online is reporting that Salma Hayek will not return to Ugly Betty during her pregnancy. Many speculated she would return and announce she’s pregnant with Daniel’s child. But Eric Mabius (Daniel) leaves little doubt about what fans should expect. “[Salma] has made it very clear that she’s not going to be returning,” said the actor. “She likes to keep her private life very private.”
Anglica Vale and Gina Gershon will all guest star on the season finale of ABC’ s award-winning comedy, Ugly Betty, Thursday, May 17, (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. In the episode, East Side Story, Vale, who stars as Lety in the hit Mexican telenovela La Fea Ms Bella, will guest star as her assistant, Anglica. Gershon will reprise her role as cosmetics mogul Fabia, who turns up at Mode to once again torment her nemesis, Wilhelmina Slater.
Playbill.com revealed that Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth will guest-star on the season finale of ABC’s Ugly Betty, airing May 17. Chenoweth, says her spokesperson, will play “an orthodontic technician who loves romantic comedies and becomes overly involved in her patients’ lives – including Betty’s.”
