The network gave the green light to The Law, which revolves around reserve police officers for the LAPD who balance their full-time off-duty lives with the excitement of being weekend cops. The comedian will star in and executive the pilot. Last development season, he starred in an ABC family comedy pilot that didn’t go forward.
