Jennie Garth has signed a deal to return this fall for multiple episodes. Garth reappears in the third episode when Kelly gives Harry advice on how to deal with his situation with Annie.

Additionally, John Schneider is joining the show in a recurring role. He will play Liam’s step-father, first appearing in the second episode of 90210’s new seasonl. Liam’s step-father, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, is a bit of a jerk, whom Liam does not get along with. When Liam returns after his summer stint in that “scared straight” program we saw him being hauled off to in the finale, he’ll clash with the doc was once again.

Martha Plimpton has signed on for a multi-episode. Starting with the season premiere, Plimpton will appear as the mother of a young patient.

Additionally, Mitch Pileggi, who first guest-starred on the ABC drama toward the end of Season 3, will return for the two-hour Season 6 premiere, again playing hospital board chairman Larry Jennings.

Drop Dead Diva (Lifetime)
Liza Minnelli and Delta Burke are set to play dueling sisters on Lifetime’s upcoming legal dramedy. On the show, which premieres July 12, Minnelli plays a psychic who takes her sister (Burke) to court after she opens a competing psychic shop directly across the street from her store. Their episode airs September 20.

BET Looking To Save The Game From Cancellation

TV Guide is reporting that BET is looking at bringing original episodes of The Game to their network. The entire cast seems to be on board for a fourth season, and the only hold-up comes from CBS Paramount Network TV. BET is waiting to hear if it can acquire the rights to air new episodes. Earlier this year, BET acquired the off-network rights to run repeats of the show. The idea of BET stepping forward and saving The Game actually came from the show’s cast, which includes Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall and Wendy Raquel Robinson.

Mark Pellegrino To Raise Hell On Supernatural

Michael Ausiello is reporting that Mark Pellegrino has landing a big guest role on The CW’s Supernatural. Pellegrino, who was unmasked as Lost’s Jacob at the end of last season, has been cast to play Lucifer. In Supernatural’s season finale Lucifer was released from hell, although we never actually saw him. All of that will change when Pellegrino debuts in the show’s September 10 season premiere.
