Covert Affairs (USA)
Peter Gallagher has been cast to co-star on USA Network’s pilot Covert Affairs. The show centers on Annie Walker (Piper Perabo), a multilingual CIA trainee who joins the agency while reeling over a mysterious ex-boyfriend who appears to be of particular interest to her bosses. Gallagher will play CIA director Arthur Campbell, a regal man and former Naval officer who loves a good fight, great scotch and a filthy joke.

CSI: NY (CBS)
Skeet Ulrich has signed on for three episodes this season. Ulrich will play a complex and deeply disturbed killer. The arc will send the CSIs all over New York City on one of the wildest cases of their careers. The three episodes will begin airing October 7. The killer character harkens back to Ulrich’s role in Scream, the horror mystery that helped make him a star.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
Martha Plimpton has signed on for a multi-episode. Starting with the season premiere, Plimpton will appear as the mother of a young patient.
Additionally, Mitch Pileggi, who first guest-starred on the ABC drama toward the end of Season 3, will return for the two-hour Season 6 premiere, again playing hospital board chairman Larry Jennings.

Sendhil Ramamurthy has signed on for an episode of Psych. Ramamurthy will play Raj, a young man who believes that the firstborn in each generation of his family is cursed, a belief reinforced by the fact that bad things keep happening to all of his girlfriends. He joins Jay Chandrasekhar who is playing Jay, Raj’s cousin who is directing a Bollywood-style play at the local theater and engaged to be married. They are both appearing in one episode title “Bollywood Homicide, with Chandrasekhar most likely directing the episode.
