Fox Orders A Full Season Of Glee

Fox has ordered a full season of the critically acclaimed comedy Glee, making it the first new show of the fall to get a full-season order. During its preview and throughout the summer, more than 25 million people sampled the first episode of Glee. The September 9 premiere was FOX’s highest-rated fall scripted new series premiere in three years. Additionally, the show has attracted over 300,000 obsessed fans on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, and after only three episodes, six of the songs featured on GLEE have already made it into iTunes’ Top 100 Downloads.

TLC Is Wedded To Perfection

TLC has greenlit Wedded To Perfection. The series order comes after the show ran as a special in May and did well enough to show potential as a series. Six episodes have been ordered and series will premiere October 2. The show, which will air at 10:00 PM/ET Fridays, follows husband and wife Jung Lee and Josh Brooks. The couple owns a premier wedding and event planning business.

ABC Family Picks Up 10 More Episodes Of 10 Things

ABC Family has picked up the back 10 episodes of 10 Things I Hate About You’s first season. According to show runner Carter Covington, those episodes are likely to premiere beginning in January 2010. Covington says the second half of the first season is going to get even more sophisticated as the rivalry between Bianca and Chastity (Dana Davis) turns openly political. We’ll get an “unexpected history of Patrick Verona” in the episodes to come.
