The actors on the Fox drama Prison Break have been notified that the filming schedule might be extended to accommodate production of two additional episodes. Prison Break writers are yet to pitch ideas about the extra hours, but speculation is that they might serve as a conclusion to the four-year series. If the two episodes are made, their fate is unclear as the network has not committed yet to air them, though conversations with the studio are under way.

Charles Westmoreland, who would have you believe him to be the long-lost D.B. Cooper, will make an appearance in the December 15 episode says TV Guide. He will once again be portrayed by Muse Watson. Last time we saw Westmoreland he was left to die mid-escape from Fox River at the end of Season 1. Westmoreland turns up as Michael continues his quest to unravel the Scylla mystery.
For the annual midseason finale airing December 22 Kathleen Quinlan (Apollo 13) is joining the Company on Prison Break. She’ll fill the recurring in the role of a high-ranking player within the Company, someone to whom even the General might answer to. After presenting its midseason finale, Prison Break will return in 2009 to finish up its fourth cycle.
