Maura Tierney has left NBC’s Parenthood due to her ongoing treatments for breast cancer. NBC had already pushed back the series from fall to midseason to give the star time to undergo treatments. While Tierney is expected to recover, her treatment plan conflicted with the production schedule for the dramedy.

Bryan Fuller And Bryan Singer Bringing Sellevision To NBC

Bryan Fuller and Bryan Singer are pitching Sellevision to NBC. The show is a comedic one-hour set behind the scenes of a home-shopping cable channel. Fuller is writing the project, based on Augusten Burroughs’ novel. In the TV adaptation, “we will keep true to the tone of the book, and most of the characters will be the same,” Fuller said. Singer is on board to direct. The two will executive produce with Galgos Entertainment’s Mark Bozek and Russell Nuce. Jason Taylor at Singer’s Bad Hat Harry banner will produce.

Gallagher will play CIA director Arthur Campbell, a regal man and former Naval officer who loves a good fight, great scotch and a filthy joke.
