Juliette Lewis (future sister-in-law of Earl star Ethan Suplee) appears as Jessie, a sweet secretary turned butt-kicking bounty hunter who’s out for revenge six years after losing Earl, a pair of Metallica tickets and her two front teeth to Joy. Payback, though, proves difficult, thanks to the chivalrous actions of Earl, who goes out of his way to protect Joy — even after she reveals previously unknown details about the night they met.

Remember all the Y2K hoopla a few years ago? Earl goes back in time in this flashback-heavy story and remembers how he and his compadres readied themselves for the dawn of the new millennium.
Needless to say, hilarity ensues. Viewers also learn how the gang first met Darnell, aka “Crabman,” who causes quite a scare by foretelling what 2000 could bring: “All the computers will go berserk. Things like electricity, water and gas will be out. The banks will be out of money. The stores will be out of food. All the high scores on the video games will be reset.”
