David Morse (Hack) has joined the cast of House for a multi-episode arc. According to executive producer Katie Jacobs, Morse’s character – a cop named Michael Tritter – will face off with Hugh Laurie in a battle of egos.
“House is going to piss off the wrong guy, and that guy just happens to be a cop,” Jacobs reveals. “He is really going to hold House accountable. We’re going to have some fun with that.”

House and the team try to save the lives of a young mother and her newborn son. Foreman struggles to regain normalcy in his life.
The good news tonight is that Foreman’s not only alive, he’s back at work. The bad news? He’s not as smart as he was before Cameron “accidentally lobotomized him,” as House puts it with his usual tact. Meanwhile Chase is working in the NICU because he wants a break from lying patients — and House, of course. Cuddy and Wilson are having dinner together.

House doesn’t lose patients often, but he did last night. And that means Foreman, who has the same thing that killed Joe, will be next unless House figures out what it is. Will Foreman die? Well, we do know things are grave since Foreman’s very religious father, played by Charles S. Dutton, shows up.

Tonight’s patient: a marijuana-growing Camden, N.J., cop who can’t stop laughing. Even after getting shot. He’ll change his tune, but not because of the shooting — and Foreman, no fan of the police, thinks that’s funny. But the doc’s getting sick, too. As for House, he’ll try to get the cop’s partner to fix his speeding tickets. The two-part episode concludes tomorrow at 8 pm/ET.

House has his hands full when he goes up against God, or at least a 15-year-old faith healer who says he talks to God. Trouble is, the kid’s afraid that if House fixes what he thinks is wrong with him, these two-way conversations could stop. Meanwhile, Wilson has moved out of House’s apartment, and where he goes plays an important role in tonight’s plot.

Tonight’s patient can’t sleep, and House can’t stay awake. How’s that for balance? It seems that early-bird Wilson has been messing with House’s sleep patterns at home. As for the 25-year-old patient, she needs a new liver. Good thing she has a lesbian lover who can donate tissue. There are plenty of bad feelings between Foreman and Cameron because, she says, he stole her ideas for a medical-journal article.
