Clayne Crawford has been added to Fox’s 24 as a recurring character. Crawford will play a bad boy from Dana Walsh’s (Katee Sackhoff) past. Sackhoff recently signed on as a new regular on the real-time drama playing an expert data analyst at CTU with a secret past who is involved with CTU agent Davis Cole (Freddie Prinze Jr).

Entourage (HBO)
Matt Letscher, William Fichtner and Scott Caan have been tapped for multiepisode arcs on the series’ upcoming sixth season. Letscher will play Dan Coakley, a handsome, arrogant TV studio executive who oversees Drama’s (Kevin Dillon) TV series. Fichtner plays Phil Yagoda, a slick TV producer who had a hit teen series in the 1990s and is trying to remake it with Drama. Caan plays Scotty Lavin, a cocky and highly competitive manager who acts tough and trash talks to cover up how insecure he is and sees E (Kevin Connolly) as a threat.

Heroes (NBC)
British actor Ray Park is in talks to join the cast for a sizeable arc. Little is known about Park’s role, except that he would be playing one of the colorful characters at the center of the show’s Carnivale-esque storyline.

Additionally, Deanne Bray is nearing a deal to come on board for multiple episodes. Bray is set to play a deaf love interest for one of the main Heroes.

Robert Knepper Joining Heroes As Lead Villian For Fourth Season

Robert Knepper has been cast as the new lead villain on NBC’s Heroes next season. In at least six episodes of the series’ fourth season, Knepper will play Samuel, a charismatic but evil person, with a twisted sense of humor who will veer into the lives of all heroes. The character had been referred to as “Carnival Barker” in the series breakdown released last month. Heroes is set to return in the fall for an all-original run in a new time slot at 8 pm/ET on Mondays. Production on Heroes is scheduled to begin later this week. Knepper is best known for playing Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell on Fox’s Prison Break, that viewers loved to hate.

Army Wives (Lifetime)
Shelby Lynne will appear in an August episode, playing a country music singer whom Roxy adored while growing up, but now is “down and out,” Brigid Brannagh (Pamela) says “Roxy ends up befriending her – and then she sings a little ditty at the Hump Bar, which is pretty cool.”

Appearing in the episode immediately following is Gilmore Girls actress Kelly Bishop. She’ll be playing the wife of a late, great state senator, in town to attend a building-naming ceremony. Charged with entertaining the special guest, Claudia Joy and Denise come to realize the not-so-weeping widow’s secret – that she’s a cougar!
